Higgie Posted June 27, 2016 Author Share Posted June 27, 2016 I don't have any scales to hand at the moment, but it isn't heavy by any means, I would guess at between 8-9 lbs. the Truss Rod turns freely in both directions, and the neck is nice and straight. I liked it so much I went out and bought an '82 JV P straight away. Make no mistake, these are a truly outstanding instruments in every way. I think the JVs (and Japanese in general) don't have any other routing like the new USA/Mexi ones right? Essentially, could you run it without a scratchplate?
