I am experiencing really bad Rob Allen GAS.

Either a Mouse 30 or a Deep 5.

Does anyone know if there are any accessible in the UK. It is a lot of money to drop on an unknown quantity - but, OH!, how lush are they?

A couple of years ago there was an MB2 at the Bass Gallery. Don't know if its still there. I tried it and was a bit disappointed. It had neck dive and didn't feel comfortable at all. The Deep 5 looks interesting though! There is a Mouse 30 on the Bass North West site. Rob Allen owners don't seem to part with their basses!!

I'm considering getting one, here's a copy of an email I had from Rob a day or two ago.

Hi Kevin- I have many necks and bodies made up already, so those can
be delivered in a few weeks, if I have to make it up for you, it is
about 3~4 months delivery time. Currently I have one bass available
for immediate delivery (which is rare), it is a MOuse 30 fretted with
maple top and f-hole.

I'm about to order a new Status, so it will be after Christmas now before I order one.

The pickup is in the bridge, piezo. It gives an acousticy type sound. Here's one of the Youtube links.

Sorry.. my mistake, it's an MB2. It's been on the site for about 4 weeks and I'm surprised it's still there!

Thanks, I had clocked that. I think the GAS is subsiding, but it was powerful last night!
