Hey all, it's with a heavy heart that I'm selling my first precision bass, unfortunately GAS has taken over and I need to raise funds for another purchase

This guitar isn't a standard bass, I have built this from parts bought either here or elsewhere on the interweb, the "spec" is as follows

* Squier VM precision body that I have stripped back and dyed with American walnut stain (I still have about half a can of the stain left that I will throw in with the sale)
* Squier VM Jaguar neck with "cheeky F logo" applied
* Bone nut
* Aftermarket red tort pick guard (I have an off white one and a black one going spare also)
* Fender Original '62 RI Precision Pickups
* CTS pots with Switchcraft jack and cloth wiring and (I believe) PIO cap
* Gotoh 203 bass bridge
* Grover machine heads

Currently strung with 45, 65, 85, 105 rotosound flatwounds

This guitar, considering home built, is a monster of a bass and plays and sounds fantastic, I have set it up as best as my abilities allow, next to no fretwear at all and a fully working truss rod

I MAY be tempted to part this guitar out but ideally, I'd like a deal done / agreed for all parts before doing so

Price INCLUDES UK delivery

Collection is fine or candeliver for a cost of diesel if your more than 20 miles from Chelmsford, Essex

Any questions/queries/offers/more pictures get in touch and I'll do what I can asap

Regular 34" scale and as requested, with black pickguard which was the pickguard that originally came with this body

The 'walnut' body is just superb. I am sad (or have French taste ), I like 'brown' wood basses.

Love proper wood looking basses myself, sad to see this one go as it was my first precision but GAS is a cruel mistress.....

When I started this project build though, look no further than the Elvis Costello jazzmaster for inspiration, wanted mine to look a little more........ratty though, not a fan of shiney new on guitars or basses
