Shockwave Posted September 4, 2015 Share Posted September 4, 2015 I bought a 4 string from bass direct when they were being trialled for interest at the London bass guitar show 3 years ago. It was an interesting beast. Single cut, mm and j pickup. Mm sounded really hot, Jazz was meh, preamp was good. Assymmetrical neck. Quality woods. Fairly lightweight. Played amazingly. Finish was a tad ropey. It was a good bass. Wasn't keen on the double cut 5 strings they had at the time. As I wanted an MM pickup and I didn't like the Jazz pickups.
