This is my very special 1996, 50th Anniversary model Precision Lyte in really nice sunburst. This bass is a time warp and has hardly been used. The only mark I can find on it is a tiny bit of paint chipping near the rear strap button but you can hardly see it. There is no fret wear, knocks, dings or scrapes. The frets are immaculate, the original knobs are on it and the paint on the pick ups is as fresh as when it left the factory. The hard-wear has no tarnishing and everything on it is bright and fresh, it even still has the plastic on the control cavity cover!

The bass is extremely light, it plays and sounds awesome. The neck is slim and fast and it is a pleasure to play. The made in Japan tuners keep it in tune for ever and the battery lasts for ages.

There is a tag inside the case that says export USA so I can only assume it was meant for the American market, additionally the neck plate which is correct says Fender USA on it.

The bass comes in a Fender deluxe gig bag and is now priced at £450.00.

Thank you for looking.

Thank you Gentlemen. It is indeed a lovely bass. Tom of course you can always justify another! Oggy, I'm glad you love the 32" so much. I gave up hope of ever getting it back from you so bought another one in Sunburst.

Cheers to you both

Mike

Hi Mike

Sooooooo - you did a sneaky  and bought another 32" Jap Jazz - in sunburst (my favourite). A few pictures would't go amiss, you know how much I love these basses.

Sorry I've not been in touch for a long while, my older brother died unexpectidly at the end of July and it's been a trying time for the whole family; plus, I started a new job in August that's quite demanding. I'll drop you an email and let you know what's been happening with us. I hope you're doing OK.
