I present my very 1st bass, An Indonesian Squier P/J, which over the next few weeks, with lots of input from TimAl (who's doing all the hard work) will hopefully be transformed into a steampunk/War of the Worlds themed monster! [url="http://s1107.photobucket.com/user/Mkul0/media/PJnaked_zps089faad8.jpg.html"][/url] here she sits, stripped back and ready for Tim to go to work, there have been other threads recently on the exact process, all I know is Tim sticks on pages from a graphic novel I came across that I liked, adds a custom pickguard and headstock logo. d-basser Posted December 10, 2014 Share Posted December 10, 2014 Leather one should be easy enough to make, friend and I did one for a build and found that a sheet of leather with copper foil shielding on the back held its shape well enough to be cut to size and fitted.
