But I consider bass guitar as a solo instrument too and the way Manring plays certains pieces of music ... It's just : Wowww ... Maybe too much tapping sometimes, I really prefer listening to him when he plays "old schools technics" as finger style, harmonics, bendings, ... FWIW this is the way I like bass to sound, though you don't hear it on it's own until about 1.50 - but that's mostly how I prefer it too.
