What a great design, and what a great sound. I had some fun with them - was going to keep one but decided to let go and one day make a "Tribute" but in 34" scale. One day! A generic P bass body that comes with a selection of pickguards and pickup combinations could be a big seller, the options of plug and play preamp, pickup (s) and pickguard finish would be endless. I have space in my 'collection' for a body-less, head-less bass currently occupied by Hohner B2A. But every time one of these puts its head above the parapet I wonder...
