1 owner of 30 years. Cased and unplayed previous 10 years. Absolutely flawless. No swirls, dings, dents, corrosion, screw burr, pot crackle, paint fade...nothing. Not a scratch.

A time warp example. Neck is pin straight. The bass sounds unbelievable. Best Precision I've ever heard. I think most know what these JV's are all about and this is one of the finest examples you're ever likely to find for sale.

I have to ask - if it's not been played for the last ten years, and you've never played it either, how do you know there is zero fret buzz?

Also, you would do well to upload the pics to imgur.com or similar and insert them into your first post - not everyone's on Facebook!

Wow Jay that looks incredible.

I'm not in the market for another P bass at the moment but that is very tempting, good luck.

Thanks Gary. How are you mate? It's a peach. I still have your P-Project. Keeping that! I've offered the JV cheaper here to BC members as you well know.

I'm ok Jay, thanks. Was just wondering the other day whether you would still have my P bass, glad you have, it's a good one. :)

good luck with your sale.

Aye, it's lovely. It's been gifted a lovely new Maple/RW JV neck from my, sadly, now deceased '83 black JV and a vintage tortoise guard. Put some sunbeams on it. That bridge and those SDQP's...wonderful stuff. It's a keeper. This one here was always going to be the one I never sold... but the drummer in me has seen something else. ;)

Cheers mate.

Bobbins. Every time I'm happy with my collection disaster strikes! What an excellent piece of kit.

Thank you for your kind words. I've not seen many this clean and un-abused. I'm surprised it's still here. As close to new old stock as is possible. Flawless.
