kevin_lindsay
I'm playing this for the first time, and it's sounding and looking fantastic. Anyone else received a copy?

kevin_lindsay
The dvd is really well done - fantastic live footage interspersed with interviews and touring clips.
ambient
I've got the 'ground up' CD/DVD which is really good, lots of live studio footage. The one guy's one of the tutors at uni .

grahamd
On spotify too, sounds great, less compressed than a lot of stuff on there
leroybasslines
Michael League is a fabulous player!

lowdown
I know solos are the work of the devil on Basschat, and possibly need to be cleared with the mods first. But this keyboard solo (in the middle) is just fantastic (my opinion of course). http://youtu.be/L_XJ_s5IsQc
toneknob
What's wrong with solos? As well as the other Snarky CDs, which come with a bonus DVD (I've got groundUP and Tell Your Friends), I can also recommend Pupps' keyboard player Bill Laurence's new release Flint, which also comes with a bonus DVD. (Also also, Michael League is on the cover of the August 2014 Bass Player magazine)
toneknob
And they're on the main stage at Love Supreme festival on Saturday, 2pm ish. See you there!
lowdown
What's wrong with solos?
None in my book, I love them (all Instruments). It was just a tongue in cheek quip from me (I can't get BC emoticons on my iPad for some reason). Cory Henry is just great. http://youtu.be/aMRgsxF1jJ0 Edited June 29, 2014 by lowdown
Bassnut62
Saw them recently in Brum and they are great musicians; but a bit too pleased with themselves for my liking, particularly the bass player. Saw Prince recently too and the Puppies could learn a lot about humility from the Purple One. Still they are a good band and well worth seeing I reckon
toneknob
Another one for the Cory fans (caution, no bass content) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLDKGbhr5Ps
