Online Jamming

Not sure if this is right place to ask this question, but hey. I've been looking for software that allows me and few other people to Jam online, so from the comfort of our own home, need to be cross platform (windows/Mac) http://www.cockos.com/ninjam/ seemed to be the answer although I found out that it requires a Power PC chip to run on my Mac, with has an intel chip , I looked for emulators but there isn't much information about. I was considering Google hangouts but, I have yet to test it. Anyway to my question, do anyone else jam over the internet ? and if so what software are you using ? and what are the pit falls you experienced ?

  11.
This is turning out to be one hell of a bass bash. Ace.
Can't wait!
  12.
Cool. That was pre-IR bass era too. This is what the new bass can do: http://bitnormalreco...e-five-thunders I'll speak to Jarman, if you fancy them doing a short set then consider it done.
Cool, I'll PM Cheddatom to make sure its all good
  13.
I got a message from Matty & Jarman today from Men Imitiating Machines in Australia (amazing live 2-piece electronic act). They are coming to the UK in a few weeks on tour (I helped and signed the visa applications etc). It said, "We've been looking around what's on in the UK while we have a few days downtime and saw the Basschat meet up. Lets go!" So you may see me and the MIM boys. Jarman plus an Industrial Radio Midi bass, which there are literally only a handful of in the world. If its of interest to people, I'm sure they'd play a 20min set for everyone if there is a PA handy. Providing that all works out I'll bring my Roscoe LG as well
Awesome! Just checked MIM out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpKcinNE7ZA Would be really good if they did a set for us!
  14.
I've been tweeting it since a date and place were defined. Will retweet again later today. You could ask Jellyfish to FB the event too...
I've PM'd Jellyfish cheers, Bluejay

  19.
Can we create a list of whose coming and what they're bringing? 1. Tayste - 1970's Ampeg B-15, 3 Overwater Originals (5 string, 4 string, 4 string fretless), Fender Pawn Shop Mustang, full pedalboard.
my mouths watering, Tayste 1. 20.
Excellent! If this is final, 64k, could you please amend both the thread title and your initial message so that it shows the details? (Presumably the complete address will only be divulged to participants by PM.) You can edit a thread you started by going into your first post and using the "Advanced Editor". When all is done I'll tweet the thread to our followers. I won't be able to attend, I'm afraid, both because it's a bit out of my way and because I have another commitment anyway, but I'm happy to spread the word to the BC community and beyond
Yeah I believe where final on the date and location, I will updated the thread. A tweet to your follower would be great, thank you.
  21.
Sunday the 11th, confirmed! I shall provide tea, coffee (instant cheap crap as I don't drink it) and some biscuits. Anything else required? What sort of time are we thinking?
Cool, I was originally thinking 1 - 5pm ?
