Legacy strings

Yeah, they are fantastic - I change roughly every two months if gigging regularly and they sound great. It's not Tom Jones to get a dead string (particularly the E) in a pack but I've had the same problem with some other brands costing five times as much, so I don't really see that as an issue.

Yeah I used some strings once that were unopened and lying around in rehearsal room as spares (Johnny Brooke brand) that had a dead E but apparently they were bought in bulk and were about £4 a packet

Well put them on yesterday and had a rehearsal today and I'm very happy with them. Not too sparkly (which I like) and tonnes of definition. I find the tension comfortable too; my usual LaBella Stainless Steels are slightly stiffer so not too radical a departure.

We'll see how long they last though!
