Hey Adji,

Welcome!
Sad to see you're in South-East Wales. The contingent from there will soon take over the world ...
... and BassChat soon after that.
Good you at least have exquisite taste in stringed instruments. Is it Sterling Silver? Not Egyptian Smoke, I presume.
(mine are Dargie Delights I and II, and Sapphire Black)

Anyway, have a great time here.

best,
bert

Hi Bert,

Wow,! you must be a fan of Musicman basses :). Yes it's a Sterling Silver Bongo 5- my first musicman, got it 6 months ago . Also got an Alembic 5 and Yamaha JM 6.

Yes, seems a lots of us in South Wales from what Space Chick says.. :) !! and I will keep an eye on events. I bet there are a lot of great bass players in Norway too.

Keep Rockin!!

Nah. More a fan of weird greens, I gather. ;) Right now working on my poopoo picture pickguard for a white Bongo. It'll be ace, I tells ya! :D

But seriously, I know zilch, but do try to buy what takes me fancy. They're said to be fantastic basses, and I love their design. Bought one SH and loved everything about it, especially ergonomics and the 4EQ, so bought some more.

You seem to have three great basses. Are they comparable, you'd say?

Musicman sounds not bad, still trying to get used to the sound . Alembic sounds great and solid, I am be able to play all kind of music including RNB and pop. Seems suits all around of music. Yamaha JM i am normally stick with rock and heavy metal.
