For sale is my beloved Matamp GT200. It's too big now I'm not playing in bands so it seems a crying shame to just have it lying around my house.

This is the first generation GT200 so is pretty rare as the factory doesn't make them any more.

Now the specs:
200 watts clean, 280 driven.

4 x KT88 power and 3 x 12AX7 pre-amp valves.
All 4 power valves have recently been replaced with JJ's and re-biased by Andy at Matamp.
DI out for recording/live.
The 'Green' logo lights up similar to a Bad Cat or Matchless.

The amp is located in Liverpool but i go to Manchester a lot as a delivery option.

There's a few people interested in the amp, while I do realise it's a hefty sum, this version of the amp will not be made again and is now a part of Matamp history...

The sale is very, very reluctant so i'm happy to wait for the right buyer.

Yeah £1200 is a great price for a Matamp gt200 mk1. If peeps want a cheap amp then go get one.
A used gt200 is still better than new amps made from rubbish parts for more than £1200 so if you want to get a Matamp then £1200 is a great price.
