midialan2000 Posted September 20, 2012 Share Posted September 20, 2012 Hi im new to this site and i was wondering if anyone has any plans or templates for building bass guitar bodies? Ive built a bass many years ago but my son has got into my status washburn 1000 and is now quizin me about fretless. I have a precision fretless neck and i want to build a body of some sort. I was wanting to know if anyone has any templates for router or if anyone can poin me in the right direction for one, even if they are PDF. Any help would be very welcome I have all the hardware, neck, kent armstrong soap bars x 2, pots and bridge. CAN ANYONE HELP?? Regards Alan. bertbass Posted September 20, 2012 Share Posted September 20, 2012 I've just bought plans from, http://www.johnanthonyguitars.com. They're available either directly or via ebay and are full size. You could cut out the various bits, glue them to whatever wood takes your fancy and make your own templates. I think they're not bad value at £9.99 a plan and £3.20 total postage.
