ash Posted August 19, 2012 Author Share Posted August 19, 2012 Hi - here's a pic contrasting the 'burst of the fretless '83 with my fretted JV '82. You can see that the '82 model has far more orange/red in the sunburst also the grain of the '82 is much more pronounced since these early models were made from sen ash.
