This is typical of me and my hearing, I have finally got the hang of Level 42 43 and I'm made up, then I find my baby girl loves the Banana Splits tune and I find I'm struggling....found a tab that seems off to me, it jsut doesn't osund like c major to start of with, I know there is half step key change

....unless the recording is one those speeded up ones where really there is no key...or could be me and most likely is  Any ideas?

The way I would play the main theme goes like this: (never tried it before but what the hell it not exactly Bach! :) )

I start on G and end on G an octave lower. ( 12th fret of the G string and finish on 5th fret of the D string) G E D. G G E D. G E D. B B A G

Course its all subjective and changes with different bass, amps and strings etc, and wether or not you want to play the bass or the melody , :) But as Jaco said, why not learn both. Its all around notes G B and D really, once you got the main theme its easy from there.

Pffhhh those damn Dickies, Way back in the day spring of 1979 were the band at our local 'punk night'. Kept us waiting all bleedin night till 1AM then did their entire set at a speed that made the Ramones seem like a Dub Reggae band ( in 25 minutes!) Some callow youth broke a window in their band bus as a protest.

I cannot tell a lie. It it was I
(Hey give me a break I was 16 and trying to impress the local punkettes)
