toprekoms Posted June 22, 2012 Share Posted June 22, 2012 Hi All, I'm new here. I'm awaiting delivery of a beautiful ivory black PRO-T IV. i've always heard about the neck dive issue on this bass. Some people don't seem to have a problem, but if I do, is there any rule of thumb as to where to relocate the back strap button? [/quote] Depends on the age of them they switched part way through production. So in answer wait and see what turns up and if you get noticable dive or not! When I ordered my Silverburst T'Bird, the stock image had the strap button in the usual place, so I was expecting to need to change it, but when it arrived it was already on the heel of the neck anyway. Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted June 23, 2012 Share Posted June 23, 2012 the first batch of pro-iv & pro-v thirds had the strap button on the upper bout, but he later ones (including my natural oil pro-v) do indeed have them by the back of the neck heel.
