phatbass787
Just caught it halfway through, great playing and tone and lots of famous people keep turning up!
Hobbayne
Is that the one where a very young Amy Winehouse appears? Wembley 2004?
Bassman Sam
Thanks for heads up. Good gig. Pino's soo cool.
wateroftyne
The Strat Pack is a weird gig. Some of it is unbelievably shambolic, and the editing is terrible. And Jamie Cullum...? Some good stuff on it, though. Annie Clements is stunning. :-o
jezzaboy
Featuring that well know Strat player Brian May!! He even comes on at the end during the simply shocking version of stay with me playing his Red special. Are we missing the point Mr May? I have had the dvd version for a few years and it`s mostly good except too much Joe Walsh. Jez

kevin_lindsay
Brian may was actually one of the first guys on stage. He played with the Crickets - using a sunburst 50's style Strat!! But, that never made it to the DVD release). On the night David Gilmour and Gary Moore were the standout acts in terms of live sound Edited May 3, 2012 by kevin_lindsay
Mickeyboro
Agreed, Kevin. As for Joe bloody Walsh I hug around a rehearsal studio all day and he blew me out for Johnnie Walker! Luckily that meant I could chat with Pino, who is a lovely fella. Oh, and that other Start user Albert Lee. Don't start me on Winehouse and Cullum - must have had great PR people... That day was also the birth of Queen + Paul Rodgers (ugh). Nuff said.
