HeeHaw song Lovely african drums thing going on here. Did I hear some slap-wise bass in there?

Burning Ghosts (TD) Liked the guitar solo.

You continue to come up with good grooves :D

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with the progression but have hit the wall again as I'm learning to use some new software/EZ drummer. Slap bass? I guess it is half way there as I play finger style but can pluck slap style, I cant get the thumb slapping at all.

I've started to do a little project on the side, more atmospheric than my "normal" stuff. Where I'm primarily playing keyboard.

What makes this particularly adventurous is that at the end of each day I work on a song it uploads to soundcloud almost automatically. So anyone watching will get to see the songs develop.

If you'd like some guitar (acoustic or electric) on it let me know

I'm starting to love this thread and soundclooud. It is great to hear what others are doing. There is a lot of talent and originality on this group.

You, Sir, are also an inspiration. I'm not about to copy you, but am seriously thinking I'd like to do some rockier grooves :)

Wow, Thank you sir much appreciated. I have a lot of pressure at work at the moment so expect some slightly "unhinged" tracks on Soundcoud in the near future  .

Well, I finally got round to sorting out a soundcloud account. So far I have uploaded two albums I have played on. More will follow in time :)

The first is the last album I played on for a band called Cow and recorded in 2012 at Paul Wellers Black Barn studios. I guess its a kind of acoustic, motown, soul, pop thing with a 60's and 70's american feel. For me the stand out tracks are Shivers, Gypsy Lover and Far Enough (fretless).

Hi Michael,
I heard Black Harvest on the Weller selected Mojo cover CD recently. I thought it was an outstanding track on what was a pretty excellent album all round.

Another nice one! To get the vocal sound did you put it through a guitarist's OD pedal with some vicious EQ?

Nice lively drum sound :)

Nope I just use some of the standard Garageband effects and play with them a bit. From memory its the "megaphone" with some additional echo and delay I also like the hip-pop and dance vocal effects. My voice is naturally pretty low anyway. Thanks again for the comments. I'm very busy at the moment and having trouble justifying time spent recording to myself at the moment

Here's mine.

Mainly just playing covers to some midi tracks, but hopefully some original stuff up in the future once I get back in to playing a bit more.

Here's mine. Just signed up and uploaded a few tracks, seems to be better than bandcamp with the social networking integration, and damn, aren't waveforms pretty?
