After 5 years, I'm still finding new short cuts etc. - I'm a slow learner. But Reaper sure looks pretty and all those extra plug ins are calling....... I wonder if my Waves diamond pack will work with it, or whether I'll even need it? You just can't use them at the same time. As far as I know the evaluation version doesn't expire so you can trial it at your leisure. 51m0n Posted August 30, 2011 Share Posted August 30, 2011 (edited) Yes, it was about £25 when I bought my copy. The download will not expire, it will nag the hell out of you, and rightfully so. If you find yourself using it after 30 days you should buy a licence, its the decent thing to do after all. Rumple Posted August 30, 2011 Share Posted August 30, 2011 Another Reaper user here, it's excellent, I find it's fast, stable, cheap and easier to use then Cubase - it also has some great routing options for creating weird sounds. The $60 fee works out at around £37 or so which is still a bargain. It's handy that the demo still works after 30 days as it's taking me longer than that to give it a good work out.
