Hi Guys. Steve Miller here from Chicago. I often pop over to Paul Rose's Prosebass website to look at what's being made, but lately haven't been able to connect with his site. Any knowledge if Paul's still in business? His short-scale headless basses are one-of-a-kind. I was hoping to pick one up sometime. Thanks for any input you can share.

Hi Steve. I believe he has: Here is a posting from another forum.

Yes folks, the time has come to put Prosebass to bed.
'oh dear' some shouted, 'about time' sayeth others....

I have gone back to full time work and am now in the employ of a major UK PLC.
This will give me the time and funds to have a rethink and work on some ideas
that I have for mass production basses rather than the custom builds.

I would like to express a big thanks to all who have put their faith in me and allowed me to build them a bass ,
those who have helped and given advice.

Thanks again...Paul

Paul made a nice Simonon-alike P bass for me and has some very original lightweight ideas
