Hi I am new to the forum and wondered if anybody has any idea about the age and maker of a bass I have.it looks to be quite old possibly 80s/90s,made of beautiful solid woods and to me sounds great.there is no sign of maker on the headstock or in the body cavities.Any help would be very much appreciated.

From the same origin as the Peavey Zephyr/Grind ranges I'd say - I have a Zephyr C5 & the body/neck shape & laminations are pretty much identical, really only the headstock's different.

Here's one - see what you think:

Age-wise it'll be 90s/early 00s and probably Korean-made.

Jon.

That's what i thought it looked like, i think the OP's looks a bit nicer though and the sculpting around the body edges is a nice touch. I seem to remember the Peavey didn't have the rounded edges although i could be wrong.
