Hi All
I was thinking of replacing the driver in my Trace 1818 cab, but I don't have much idea what is good aside the obvious (celestion and eminence).....
I checked out their websites and they don't do 18inch speakers unless you are a manufacturer and buy in bulk.
anyone have any ideas or advice??

cheers

I've used this company before - they usually have stock - http://www.bluearan.co.uk/?manselect=Emine...9&goman=yes

Is there something wrong with the existing driver or are you after an upgrade for a specific reason?

+1 to that. Lean Business are very easy to deal with, and offer swift reliable service.

I will get the existing driver checked over before making my desicion to replace or not as it is definately sensible to do so......
however checking out the above mentioned companies (Lean and Blue Aran) I have come across the Eminence Sigma pro 18, can enyone tell me if this would be any good as i'm after a warm yet clear low tone....

cheers
....the main reason for the potential replacement is that the current driver is starting to lose its tone and sound pretty muddy....
That's God's way of telling you to get a neo 2x12!
