I will be sad to see it go - superb sound, and low action, maybe the most playable bass I've owned. I've just become more accustomed to the wider 19mm string spacing, rather than the 18mm on this. Out of all the BSR5-J models I've seen for sale (4 or 5 others) over the last 5 years since I got this, this is by far the nicest looking. Some amazing grain patterns, but still very under-stated. Maple body and (bolt-on) neck, morado finger board (I think), Smith BMT preamp, Smith humbucking J pickups. Controls are Volume (pull/passive), Pan, Bass, Mid, Treble. 34" scale. 24 frets. Weight, I can't say, but would guess around 9lbs. Comes with the original Smith hard-shell case with case candy (Smith wax, Smith leather strap).
