For sale here is my Fender Aerodyne bass. The bass is in dolphine grey and comes with fitted ashtrays.

The bass is in very good condition with a couple of dings to the rear that have went down to the wood, however these cannot be seen by anyone apart from yourself when you play it.

Here is the original post, I hope my main man Steve doesnt mind me using it :)

The bass was setup 3 weeks ago and plays amazing with its flats that its strung with, however with my Jaguar and Bongo in the stable I cant see this getting much playtime.

I am looking for a sale on this bass at £400 and this will include an aluminium flightcase that will keep this bass very safe indeed.

I may be open to trades for some amp/cab gear.

heres a few pics of my own.

didn't think I'd see this up for sale, but now I see you have a Bongo I can understand why. The aerodynes are fantastic, but not much beats a Bong IMHO, I'd have another in a heartbeat if I got the chance/cash. Good luck with the sale mate

cheers Steve, yeah between the bongo and the jag am pretty sorted with all the bass tones I will need. I have to be honest with myself and say that I won't gig this bass whilst I have the other 2 and it's just too good to be left behind. In saying that, I'm in no rush to move it on either. I will still noodle on it due to it's playability.

i am relatively new to this site and it took me a while but it's now very clear to me that a bass for sale even for sale a few times in quick succession does not say anything much about the quality of the bass. some brilliant basses are moved on continually it seems as their owners are on an endless GAS induced search for perfection or are skint. This bass for example looks like a beaut.

We will never, ever be satisfied. Yesterday I was going to sell all my basses carefully collected over the years to fund a build of my ultimate dream bass. Today I want this having never owned a Fender in my life (sadly I am using all spare cash to replace my amp which died at a gig last week) tomorrow I will want a Ric the next day I won't be able to live without a 1983 Aria Sb100 fretless.
It's the GAS man, it's the goddamn GAS.

Hello! Would you consider trading with a Tech21 bass cab (4x10) 400w and an Ashdown mag 300? That's a lovely bass you have man...where are you located?

nice one chris, I wasn't aware of this either, goes to show ignorance is not bliss haha.

I actually had a right good play on this through the ampeg gear earlier. It sounds so freakin sweet! It's soo booming and room filling I am considering keeping it and just forking out for the markbass combo from my own pocket.

The case isnt as good as the MM flightcase that the stingray came in chris (but lets face it, you would probably pay100bucks for that case alone), in saying that, its a very sturdy aluminium case with foam padding. Its the case that my bongo arrived in.

I will add this pic of it, however if anyone fancies a better pic, then please pm me.
