BobVbass Posted September 9, 2010 Author Share Posted September 9, 2010 yeah that's what I use at the mo - great for no feedback but not the most refined sound - hence the idea for a bracket to use EMGs + the schaller rattles worse than my beetle engine. IF the latter then you can drop some nail varnish on them to keep the rattling to a minimum. I have got a custom made Kent Armstrong magnetic I'd be happy to sell. Was originally fitted to my Clifton EUB, but I took it off years ago because it sounded like a huge Pbass (as all mags tend to, I guess?). Its designed to fit a "standard" 3/4 bass fingerboard, and mounts with a single screw, two other screws that fit into holes as anchors and a rubber gasket that doubles as a template.
