A year ago when I bought this bass new I was blown away with all the sounds and thought I would never need another bass. As always, needs change and I have come to the conclusion that less is more. Well in my case, I use so many different effects and switch between synths I need a simple bass! This is a year old Musicman Big Al 4-string bass in White/White/maple. It has been gigged weekly but well looked after. In very good condition apart from a couple of scuffs to the top of the headstock and 2 tiny marks (the size of a pin head) on the back of the neck. Currently strung with DR Sunbeams 40-100 (3 weeks old). [url="http://s77.photobucket.com/user/EcoMatt/media/992799_10151704638373570_1566337247_n.jpg.html"][/url] Detailed pictures to follow shortly. As I have my eye on another bass already I am putting it up for sale at £1000 in a bid to sell this quickly before the one I am after sells. After that I will raise the price to £1200. The youtube demos do make this pedal sound immensely fantastic. If I hadn't just bought a DHA VT1 I would of seriously considered this... GLWTS! -

Ah man timing! I just bought a new VT1-EQ-DI-STD in the new blue design. Love Dave's work, I used to have a VT2 which does the heavily distorted thing your after as if it were Jack Bruce's old Marshall back in the 60's. GLWTS!

Might be worth asking Alan what pickups he installed, or recording some sound examples to help people get an idea of the pickups.

*****SOLD***** custom finished Iron Ether Subterranea. Taylor hasn't taken any orders for 5 months now. I got this in December before he stopped production therefore no noise bleed issue. Moving this on as I got so into synthesis I bought a Novation Bass Station II. Of course a modded EHX microsynth is another one I can think of but they are like hens teeth.

Hi there, I know this topic has been covered but I find it hard to believe that the only 2 low pass filters out there that can cut off from around 10khz-12khz are the Moog and the Xerograph. Every other pedal that features a low pass filters starts the cut off from around 1-3khz thus really cutting out too much for modern effects. Can someone possibly shed some light on any alternatives? Oh and an essential feature is an expression input. Cheers.

Thank you for the advice everyone. It is a BassChat sale. Hopefully I may have this issue resolved as it appears to be a power related. I personally never used the pedal with a battery and always a 9v supply. The Buyer used it with a battery and it doesn't seem to like it.

Hi people just thought I would ask what is the proper procedure on refunding a pedal I have just sold? Ive have owned the Dunlop 105q in question from new and never had a single problem with it until I sent it off to the new owner who plays with it for half an hour then it ceases to work. I am pretty sure I packaged it well enough, sealed the pedal in a bag in its box and wrapped it thoroughly in bubble wrap. Insured it for £50 via royal mail. This is the first time I may have to give refund and receive the pedal back. In which order do I proceed? Cheers. Matt.
