    Empress Compressor... parallel compression and enough squeeze for my tastes and it doesn't really impart its own character on your tone, it just enhances what's already there. It's ALWAYS on in my rig.

    I use this strings exclusively (apart from LaBella flats on a P). Excellent strings! Really nice under the fingers, comfy tension, lots of room for bends. Great tone which lasts for a long while!

    Hey all! I recently recorded a vlog where I discuss my experiences with hearing loss, tinnitus and how to deal with tinnitus. I included a temporary solution to tinnitus in the video which may help some. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gktbTl6KN4 It's a bit of a ramble but it has some info about hearing protection, IEMS and coping strategies. I hope it helps others in some way or another as my hearing damage is something I wish I could change if I had the chance. If anyone has any feedback, personal anecdotes or useful tips and tricks please feel free to post them here.     Hey all! I picked up the relatively new Boss VO-1 Vocoder this week. I haven't had a lot of time to properly play with it but it's a very promising (and FUN) pedal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmTOqVqcx7s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2U1hVQ9Maiw When you use the blend you can get some really nice, funky bass sounds. In the demos above I was aiming to show how it can process a monotone voice into a melody. This may be my favourite Boss pedal of all time (although I say that as someone who isn't generally a Boss fan).

    Hi guys, up for sale is my EB Musicman Stingray with a two band EQ. I need to check the serial but I'm pretty sure this is from around 2000. The previous owner was Higgie who I picked it up off a few years ago. I think I'm the third-fifth owner. It's served me well but is surplus to requirements now. Has a few dings on the headstock and some dinks on the body which I've tried to photograph. Pickup is showing some oxidisation but it's nothing that affects the instrument. Comes with a non-original semi-hard case and Hipshot detuner fitted. I'm after [s][b]£650 posted[/b][/s][b] SOLD[/b] (am also down for meeting halfway and the like). Not interested in trades unless it's something fretless or something a bit "out there".     I honestly didn't know there was a 15 minute loud period. All I could hear most of the time was slap bass

    The octave-up sound of the You're Doom only comes in once you start playing past the 12th fret and roll back your tone. It's not an octave fuzz but it hints at it sometimes.
