1. BUMP - used it as backup for a few months but back on sale again. All details as before. Can include a battered Stagg hardcase for no extra but it'll hike the postage charge.
2. I have a list of bits and pieces from a variety of basses/projects to get shot of. 4.
may want to check in with this dude http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=153499&hl=olp
Thanks for the heads up
5. Back up for sale again - OLP MM2 StingRay copy - set up by Basschatter 7String and refitted with bone nut Standard 4 string Ray copy - pearloid s/plate, silver sparkle finish w/ matching headstock. The reason I bought it is the neck - it's well finished and very playable. It's in gigged condition (no chips but some scratches above the s/plate thanks to some vigourous brass-pick action), needs new strings and I don't have a gig bag for it but I can throw in a well used hard case for no extra - although it will obviously increase the p&p costs. It'll be well packaged either way. £140 plus P&P which will be £16ish UK/£25 to Ireland, Paypal only Questions etc let me know Cheers

11.
That'll teach me for trying to justify myself while very, very drunk! I was advised that this bass was worth £500, which still makes this bargain-esque I reckon. I really want a new amp, so would consider trades for a Orange Bass Terror, or something valvey (or is that tubey?) and vintage.
Would you be interested in a Selmer Treble n Bass 50 (just been serviced before being put up for sale, I'm picking it up tomorrow) ? It's the version with the brushed aluminium front. edit: with some cash your way too
12.
Let's have a gentle bump, as this keeps almost selling...
Howdy would you be interested in - a silver OLP MM2 - camel bone nut, wonderful action, better neck and finish than most SUBs I've seen, a replacement pickup from Wizard or Kent would probably round it off or - a late 80s/early 90s Epiphone 'by Gibson' 'Rock Bass' which has a Jazz pup arrangement but has been modded to bypass the tone pot, miss out the neck pup entirely and has been fitted with a 500k CTS volume pot for maximum bridge pup action. And another camel bone nut. (All work on these carried out by Basschatter 7string) with cash your way of course. pics available If not, no problem and good luck with the sale

14. first - Encore P go-to - Peavey T-40 'your' - Peavey T-40
15. Tom, I have one of Eric's children too - a thing known as Chalky - and to all those interested buyers, you can be sure of the quality and condition of the instrument both inside and out. People shouldn't be put off by the weight comments, the T40 is solid but very well balanced so weight isn't an issue. Good luck with the sale Tom (although I hope you don't have to...)
16. I'm having a good time with that '83 I got off Eric but I'm trying to find a decent amp that'll do it justice, I'm thinking a standard Ampeg or a Crown PA - a GK is too pricey. I also considered a Peavey but I'm not sure of the best option. I just need a meatier signal into the preamp for a decent growl. My Traynor PA head is screwed. Maybe it's time to go back to H&H after all these years... I'm happy enough with the weight of the T40 too - it was a bit of an adjustment though I think my general posture is getting better now thanks to constant tensing of back muscles - T(herapeutic)40!
17. New addition - 1983 blade...
18. Only use your bridge pickup - forget about the neck one. And, even if you can afford a ridiculously priced amp, get one of these - http://www.tronographic.com/ Listen to the mid-cut demo here using a Fender Jag bass (same pickup config as your Jazz) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TNtuJnJ9Zg
19. Having been gazumpeds on a similar beauty recently it feels good that somebody here got this!
20. This setup is new to me (on a bass) - What does it sound like?!
21.
A bump to start a new week
Have you used it much? I'm just interested to know how much music a Gig can hold - for example how much space is taken up by a single 3 minute track? I'd like to work out how many Compact flash cards I'd need to buy along with the unit for a few days recording in the remotest of places without a pc!
22.
I've just got back some old CDs of mine from a friend, and noticed that the bassist from the Wipers can be seen playing a T40 in the picture on the actual CD! I'll take a pic and put it up as soon as I can. He can also be seen brief on this video, around 2.20/2.30 minutes in, and again at 3.40 or so, more clearly now. I love the band BTW, well worth checking out if you like this kind of punk
Sweet
23. Got a stack of strings from Pete - well packed, next day delivery, cheers boss
