So did Coldplay on keys a few times. I found the first half of the set incredibly rushed. It wasn’t the usual slick performance that they put out and on tour they have big name special guests so it’s disappointing they didn’t have someone for Glastonbury. Maybe theyve headlined it so many times they’ve run out of ideas….

She is not a funk artist though….. While some of her arrangements have funk influences she is very much a female solo pop artist. You would expect the same from any of her contemporaries.

At least she used a band. Ann-Marie just used backing tracks which shouldn’t be allowed at Glastonbury IMO. Dua Lipa is in the genre that expects a show, and I think she holy delivered for a long period of time. A bit like a more polished Madonna/ Kylie show.

You must have seen a different sugarbabes lineup to the “highlights” I saw on BBC. The first thing I noticed was how bad the vocals were. On one song the key was too low for the vocal line so it was sung slightly sharp!

You have similar taste to me. The V5 is as close to traditional (vintage) Jazz sound as Ive found. Yep only heard of it as phase cancellation but if anyone else calls it insertion loss at least now I won’t run for the hills 😂

IMO the headstock is the only cool bit on a Rickenbacher.

He has a point but are they really that scarce? Andy Baxter has no problems keeping a good supply and there’s been a crazy influx of MM basses across his site and bassbros recently.

Is this 1993 Squier Standard Precision Bass any good?

From what I know, the 90’s Korean squiers have a terrible reputation. Luckily these days there are plenty of good options for that money new and used. I got my Sire for the same price on here just last year and that’s very good. -
Was a new build, had been told upfront there was no wriggle room and really wanted the plot. Could afford it and it was perfect so no didn’t haggle then either.

In both those scenarios it depends if the initial price is fair/ what the other options are. I don’t haggle for the sake of it.
