yew is not a wood you see very often on a bass but it looks bloody awesome! one of the nicest i have seen in a good while. i will have a wal one day! just not this day unfortunately.
Yep bang on 10lb ish 5kg which is light for a wal i had a collection of 8 wals, this is one of the lightest ones i have had, Again right, not many yew wood wals around, and there is some great detail on this that maks it very distinctive, you would spot it a mile away. no neck dive very comfy to play neck is slightly slimmer than my other fretted and my fretless ones.

 5. Not the hardest but one that took a long time to get right, and still my fave bass line try it, great sence of achivement when you get it right, that little bit at 1:57 bouncing of the root throws you a bit as its hard to hear whats going on at first, the more you listen the more you find Enjoy. 16.
Cor I haven't heard the Peddlers since I was kid, my dad was a fan and had a few of their albums, always nicely bass heavy if IIRC. Thanks for that.
They were a fantastic trio, when they played the pickwick in the 60s it chockerd out with guys from the stones etc and they were THE trio to watch, tabs bass lines were just so catchy, i confess to owning all the albums as well and learnt dam as near all the bass lines from them so an influence on me for sure. here is the site... http://www.thepeddlers.co.uk/ i was on you tube not long ago and caught Trevor playing with Bjork on the jools holland show with just a snare drum which is just jaw dropping. 17. now thats entertainment. cool now were on drums i have to throw in my fave drummer Trevor Morais, from the peddlers, bjork etc check the lightning fast stick swap at 2:33.... in fact sod it .. check the whole lot !!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gOLkwj-zVI or the classic @!ck award goes to prince.... when he tries to up stage M, jackson and makes a compleate tool of him self by falling off the stage...... 18. Thought it would be a good idea to have a cool bass clips or any instrument, not really playing but just being cool on stage. my first nomination goes to Chris Squire for just taking his bass off... he makes it look so easy dont try it on a small stage tho !!! at 7:11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WybjHMUTFhM

 22.
Ah. The problem is though that after a few years of wear the screws don't grip the wood properly and then you have to do "microwoodwork" with a bottle of PVA, a box of matches and a dremel. I'm surprised that more manufacturers don't use a little threaded insert and a bolt to be honest.
a good idea .... all the corners of the screw holes in the plastic surround on mine had cracked
