4.
hahah woops, kinda embarrassing... I was paying attention honest!! PM'd!
mmmmmm,.. i bet you was the one at the back of the Boilogy class drawing mustaches on all the sperms instead of paying attention
5.
Have just PM'd you funkgod - very interested in the amp and can collect it myself.
Hi sam im not selling it callum222 is..... just trying to help great little work station iv got two one for bass and one for electronic drum/piano monitor. not for gigging tho !.
6. The best £50 you will ever spend on (usable) bass gear, this one has the uprated alloy speaker, and has the octave synth sub bass effect that tracks better than anything in a pedal, i wish behringer would bring this out as a pedal, its just the best. and has inputs in the rear for a cd, mp3 or tape player and a di out yep so you can use the octaver into your desk and get a great sig ! and.. a tape phono outputs so you can record right into a tape deck or if you get the behringer usb A/D ( £15 £20 ebay) right into your computer with a great sound for not alot of cash. i use mine as a electric drum roland td12 monitor AND key monitor its even got amp out and in on the rear AND headphones, and a tuner out, oh and the octaver is is foot switchable..... OH and its got a fan in it..... So why is it still here ?? £50 ?? you wont be sorry.....
7. I told him not to sell, then i told him again now i give up ! So what i can say is this... i have tried this a few times ( J only lives 5 doors away ). and compaired to a alot of G&Ls and i have a few this one is up there with the best of them. it plays and sounds great with non of that dead spot around the d note on the Gstring, harmonics ring out nice and all the strings are well ballanced out with no drop outs on the board. its in great condition for its age and being a 3 bolt abit more collectable with the curved rosewood board (not flat slabed bottom ) like the early 60s jazzs, All in all its an out and out good bass, and if you dont know J, Buy with confidence he is one of the good guys. (and a great player)
8. Has this got the same flight case as the stingray steve ? if so show a photo of the case as well !
9. Cant belive this is still for sale, in case anyone is wondering to buy or not, did you know that the Dolphin Grey was a Japan non export model ???? and rare over here esp as its an early one ( tell by the input socket like a jazz new ones have the strat socket) more info here..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fender_Aerodyne_Jazz_Bass and into the bargin you could not buy from a more honist genuine chap. Thinking about it myself now.....MMMMMMMM
10.
Buy with confidence from Chris folks. Top bloke with a total respect for his basses. alll the best with your sale buddy.
Thanks steve, ay... youv got areo crumbs all over your shirt !!!
11. Cheers Mart your right, i had a later one, thinking it would be as good as this, 3 things made me sell it within two weeks, the neck as you say, feels slimmer and feels much more substantial on this than the newer one i had, and the other had a bad dead spot from the c note on the g string almost upto the 12th frett which really annoyed me, and the sound was not as clear or defined when on stage more boomy which i hated. this is almost a different bass, and would not get rid only for the one iv been after for a while now, thought it might tempt someone. someone must have one.

Bass in great shape and it is as said, Would buy from this chap again with no 2nd thoughts. thanks steve im very happy with it. ( I.O.U. 1 areo) wink.gif wink.gif Following on.... sep23 what can i say about this guy, he is a true gent. he has just sorted out a slight problem, ( not of his doing which i know) he said he has no problem giving me a full refund or he will sort it out And true to his word he did out of his own pocket with no problems at all. he is a man of his word, if you are looking on here for some confirmation of credibility, a more honist you wont find, i wish all people were as honest as him. And once again. Thanks steve.
15. helder from portugal, sent my bass over to him. What a truely nice chap, very easy to get along with and very understanding. everything no matter what seems no problem, Buying or selling to this guy i can recommend will be trouble free. Glad you like the bass Helder and thanks, Have fun.
16. Im not sure i can do this, but i have some of the james jamerson and Bob Babbitt, original bass lines taken from the original master tapes (just the bass lines) of marvin gay etc. In fact would be a good idea to have a dedicated thred for the next bit of info, so if any of the Moderators read this then are we legally allowed to do this ?? Ok while im sure im not allowed to to give these out, you can get intouch with a very nice man called "Rick Suchow" here http://www.ricksuchow.com/ If you are very nice to him and assure him you are only using them for yourself for personal teaching etc then he might allow you a pass word into a part of the site where these MP3 can be listend too... All to good to be true, but they are there and a fantastic help to all bass players and a great big thanks to Rick Suchow for all the efforts he does. So i think one of the moderators might want to send rick an email and ask permission if we can have a direct link to his site. sorry if this has already been covered here.
17. Hello all, for now im looking for a swap for my thumb bass. its a BO early march 93 with the wenge neck. ( is this the first year for bolt ons ?) Action is super low, and sounds as clear as a bell. bell frets, and adjustable nut. no dints but has been used, could do with a oil change (wax) looking for a swap and cash either way for an early G&L L2000 fref old head, but must have the metal/chrome plate on the front, and maple neck, dont mind fretless. sorry about the crap photos al try and do them again if any intrest..
