  1. still no one ! ! right then...... i will also chuck in 1 teabag ! yep completely FREE ! but not any old tea bag made by monkeys, midgets, or gnu's, ohhh no this is a twinings everyday tebag, ohhh yes, the real deal.. now you can take this with you, or, i can dunk it in some hot water while your here to drink while i torture you with boring talk of basses and studio bollo@ks. 🙂
  2. sold alex some IEMs, all went verywell, fast payment, quick response, on the ball. perfect 10/10. cheers Alex 👍
  3. @ Hellzero.... christ mate thats just obscene 🙂 sold my wal 6 string fretless because this 6r is better ! not joking, plays better, sounds better feels better, no dead spots and it was ridiculously cheap ( review on here somewhere) , i still have a wal out of my wal collection of 7 and others i have had, including the midibass, ( which i should not have sold as i need it now) but can say for deffo they are not all made equally ! so here are my two for now 1 a HK 6, ( before they became wolf) burl poplar 2, Doug Wilks jazz, tiger stripe maple/ebony, with john east, MEC gold pickups, schallers
  4. no one ? ok i will have to add some incentives, keep watch here...... 🙂
  5. NOW £280 More studio clear out to raise cash to get even more studio stuff....Christ.. its never ending in it ?? Mackie VLZ1642 pro mixing desk used but everything works fine. nice and very clean. ( they still sell this new, cheapest you will get it is £589 from thomann... https://www.thomann.co.uk/mackie_1642_vlz4.htm ) Cash on collection from ellesmere port so i can show it working, or feel free to arrange your own collection and ins.
  6. got to be loads out there real or carton pics....... be nice to have a collection of them here.
  7. in my studio clear out i found 2 pairs with a 4 way headphone distribution box prob intended to use them as in ears for recording for a band but never used them so i will advertise the 2 with the headphone amp in another listing, so for now, this pair is still for sale.
  8. Cheap to clear, never used, brand new, checked working 100%. great for all sorts of things, comes with jack adapters as well so you can use them as i do as AUX out of the desk to your stage monitor, wireless monitoring.... cool ! i have 2 pairs to go this is for just one pair, let me know if your after both pairs can post for £4.90 first class royal mail.
  9. Here is an observation. I am still selling on there, using the free account, but here is what i have noticed... where an item im selling might have normally 50 80 100 views my good items are getting 15 20 views my lesser wanted items are getting 5, to 0 views. so my sales are right down. Now... you can click "promote you items",, here is what you get... ---------------------------------------- General 100% more visibility, on average. Basic access to ad placements across eBay Pay per sale - only pay a fee when an item sells Accelerate sales on any type of listing, especially useful on low quantity listings or,,,, Priority 200% more visibility, on average. Preferential ranking in ad placements across eBay Pay per click - only pay for clicks on your ads Multiply sales on multi-quantity listings, especially useful in highly competitive categories Exclusive access to the top of search ad placement -------------------------------------------- so im thinking its not hard to see whats going on there... all the time my items will be bumped to the bottom of a search list topped by people willing to pay for there ad to be "promoted" and also by all the traders that pay to have that priority as part of their package. that's all if you use the default search "Sort, best match" so if you use the sort by "ending soonest" this would put everything in line with no advancement to anyone paid or business account. that's just the way im thinking of it i may be wrong ? anyone ? i know your all thinking "what do you want for nothing", and fair enough, i get that. just an observation.
  10. found this interesting site explaining capsule upgrades with loads of usefull info... and to buy from. https://microphone-parts.com/pages/introduction-to-condenser-capsule-upgrades
  11. Hi all, sorry iv been away for a few days in the sun 😎 ok dad, they have been my secret weapon for years now, very hard to find, they are ROYTEK, hand made? in Italy about 25 years ago, these as you can see by the badge on the front of the case were a part of the "Proel" group and im sure i seen a strat copy ROYTEK guitar once ! https://proelworld.com/it/it/it/it/it/ so i have only had one of them for about that long not 30ish as in the op, ( though does seem that long 🙂 .. ) they only pop up on ebay now and again, not seen one on there for years and this week one popped up so i grabbed that as well, though not with its case, may be an older one when they sold them without a case, its been a fantastic mic and my go to for all vocals, and on all the songs i have released, to put that in to context i have about 40 mics to choose from ( not joking ). It still works as does the other two, its just on one when you get too breathy it can cut out, on saying that,,,if used with out a pop filter it always did do that, so i always use filters on them, but one now and again even with a filter when a singer gets abit too excited it will pop off, so thought it might be time for a capsule change, for the price of them prob worth a go, i know you can get them cleaned, i have done this myself in the past with good results. Regarding changing the capsule iv got no probs as i do electronics anyway almost everyday, mainly fixing mixing desks and recorders for studios. so the chance to get an original capsule is prob long gone unless the one used is a stock bought in part as most are. so al have a go. @ 80 hz cheers i did try that, its not a preamp issue i have a fair few preamps including Amek 9098 and its the same on all, Regarding the up grade of the cct board, for this one in particular as you can see its a modders dream, as there is no SM stuff, just good, old school components with space, but yea, thats a whole new topic we could open up as reading some of the comments a few people would be interested in, would someone like to start a new post in the recording section regarding this or just carry on on this post ? but is something i would also be very interested in also. cheers all for your input, https://proelworld.com/it/it/it/it/it/
  12. just in case anyone is interested, i found this... warning,,, this is real cork sniffing stuff !
  13. 34mm condensor mic capsule replacement has anyone done one ? iv been using mine getting toward 30ish years now and i think the capsules need replacing mainly cutting out while singing with anything breathy, even though there is a pop filter so to my question which ones are good ones ? there are loads on ebay all about 20 to 30 quid, but are they any good ? has anyone done one ? if so which one ? and was there any difference in sound from the original ( when it was working ) cheers all

  22. it was only a matter of time ! the next phase --------------------------------------------- We’re continuing our mission to provide you with a great selling experience on eBay, which is why we made it free to sell. Now, we’re improving delivery so it’s faster, easier, and more secure for you to send your items. Starting from 15 April, Simple Delivery will be the only delivery method available for private sellers when listing most items. There’ll be a few exceptions, such as low-priced, bulky items, and local pick-up, which aren’t eligible for Simple Delivery. What is Simple Delivery? Simple Delivery is our all-in-one delivery solution, designed to cut out all of the effort and save you money. It’s also the fastest way to get paid on eBay. Plus, buyers will benefit from savings and enjoy the peace of mind that tracking offers. Here’s how it works: 1. When listing, we’ll recommend the size and weight of your item. Just confirm and we’ll do the rest. 2. Once your item sells, you’ll receive both a printer-less QR code and a prepaid printable label, so you can choose what’s easiest. 3. Drop off your item at the nearest carrier location, or schedule a home collection and you’re done! You’ll still be able to choose the carriers by going to Postage Preferences in your account settings. We recommend enabling all carriers for the most competitive postage rates. Benefits of Simple Delivery Simple Delivery offers a faster and easier experience: • Fastest way to get payments: Get your funds 2 days after delivery confirmation when using our prepaid labels. • Save 20% off postage costs*: Get competitive rates to offer standard and express delivery with Royal Mail and Evri. • Full protection: Enjoy peace of mind with eBay's full coverage for items lost or damaged in transit, where we handle claims with buyers so you don’t have to. • Free postage option: Choose if you want your buyer to pay for the label, or offer free postage and cover the cost. • Prepaid and tracked labels: Labels come with automatic tracking so buyers always know where their items are. • Flexible labels: Use a QR code for quick printing at drop-off locations, or easily print your own label at home. • Positive feedback: From late April, you’ll automatically receive positive feedback for tracked transactions delivered on time, where no feedback has been left within 7 days and no issues are reported, so you get the recognition you deserve. Learn more about this change. Simple Delivery will apply to new eligible listings by private sellers in the UK, and from 7 April to any existing listings that are eligible. If you selected buyer-paid postage, this will stay the same when your listings are updated. If you’re covering the costs, they’ll be deducted from your sales. Click the button below to see what’s eligible.
