it seems allot of this going on on facebook market. there are an equal number of people trying to rip you off if your selling stuff as well. i get them every day without fail. one of the biggest scams on there at the mo that i have seen is the " Ketter shed" scam, have alook its amazing. no matter what area your from there will be someone selling a Ketter shed close to you, with pictures that show a house from anywhere else in the world except the uk with palm trees and all sorts of give aways, all at £75 and delivered to you when you order from their special site, no matter how many times you report it as a scam it pops up again under another name, funny enough some look like hacked accounts from people that have been on there a while, seems fb is just a minefield and will only get worse as they tell their mates how easy it is, and will get even worse untill FB just shut the whole thing down as just too much of a pain in the crack to control. i hope you all get some sort of justice out of all this, nothing can be more frustrating.

It doesn’t have to be in English to be good, does it?

the offer of a quality biscuit has now expired, or should i say eaten, i now have only cheap sh!t in, rich tea, not even real ones at that, but aldi ones. also the tea has taken a somewhat downward spiral in quality, gone are the Twinings extra special limited edition Mediterranean selection infused with wild flowers and herbs from 10 different countries, this is due to sheer gluttony on my behalf, but fear not, aldi has come trumps again, albe it with their cheapest tea flavored powder, where you do infact get a couple of real tea crumbs in every bag. if there is any change to the menu you will be notified with out delay. BUT..please NOTE ..The management has the right to change the menu without notice, the offer is not refundable for any other products or cash payment other than intended herein. furthermore the offer above may be removed without notice at any time. 🙂

Novation Bass Station 2. A good first synth?
funkgod replied to fretmeister's topic in Other Instruments
you can gets some really fat funky bass sounds out of the Novation KS rack (or the keyboard version) i dont know why any one has not picked up on these yet, seems people go for the supernova, which i dont understand as the ks is less than half the price as the supernova and i think much better, i had them both and dumped the supernova on ebay as it just did not sound as good, but yea, you can tweak bass sounds till the cows come home on that thing. also has a load of other usable cool sounds in it -
Here is another Don't you forget about me, was not written by simple minds, but was infact written by Keith Forsey and steve schiff, who were writing music for the 1985 film breakfast club, and there if you dig about you will find an original version. also the song was also offered to billy idol and Bryan Ferry before simple minds did it, bryan ferry said no as he was working on his boys and girls Lp doww

yea, me too, as much as i like dougs playing and his dont give a fu@k attitude, his playing sometimes seems over the top with fx and some how detract at times to whats going on, but in terms of pushing bass boundaries doug no doubt is right up there, there is something allot cooler going on with muzz, very laid back and an altogether more gentle approach to things.

cheers guys it is with all the extras, cheers i have a friend who has that one plays in a blues band with it and he makes it scream like a beach, he loves it underrated indeed as said above, it does make me wonder why these are so overlooked, it seems when kids go into a music shop they head straight for the strats, they must be more of a wise mans guitar :-)

cheers skin, they are indeed a fantastic machine, i also use two with the d8b 24 returns and 16 on the ins leaving me the 8 mic ins to play with to get stuff on and the extra 8 in and out in the ALT slot (masters bank 16/24). and i love it, had mine about the same and know the d8b and hdr inside out now, did loads of conversions for people converting there MDR to HDRs also maintain a few studios as well who are still using them, si if yours ever go down let me know :-), can get your d8b running 5.1 with all fx open if wanted on flash or drive , did you spot the USB slot on the back ?? 🙂 🙂 🙂 here is a nice story skin, i wanted to try and have a song pro mastered so i sent it to Adam Vanryne. http://www.vanryne.com/ now, no doubt adam has got very good ears, and then some.. and an ultra nice guy, so very helpfull with top draw advice. i love the way hes so enthusiastic about other peoples projects, a rare breed in todays "just give me the cash" world, when he got the track, he rang me right up and asked what i recorded it on so i told him the hdr and d8b, we then had a great conversation which i learned so much in our 30 min chat then i would in a year, he can hear the difference between stuff that has been sent to him recorded on a pc and other formats, and basicly with out expensive interfaces, pc, laptops were never designed to record hi quality full bandwith wavs the A to D converters in them are cheap, when i said it was the hdr he knew it right away, he can hear the band width of the instruments and track or something like that, as these HDRs compress nothing to save space or process speed, clear as a bell, anyway what a nice guy, if anyone is REALLY thinking of getting a track mastered, give him an email, if he has the time, and i know he is a bizzy dood, im sure he will get round to try and help. just a quick note.. if you are thinking of getting into recording and find the lap/top or pc with software a bit daunting. then this is for you, as skin will tell you also it makes life so much easyer, so you can get on with doing songs with out turning you into a tec head, and then boring all your mates down the pub with your new super dooper pre amp with special db metering blahhhh. as said i can show you it working and get you up and running in no time cheers

For sale is one of two available Mackie HDR 24/97 24 track recorders, if you dont know these, then you are in for a bit of an eye opener. If you are looking for a next level recorder for your studio or live then read on.... These can record 24 tracks at 24 bit at the same time with ease, hence these are still being used as professional field recorders for live bands, more live albums were done on this than any other stand alone digi recorder ever, and are still being used today, so why this ?? this is the only stand alone recorder to have all the software built it, forget cubase, forget protools forget reaper, its all built in, hence it still being used as a studio recorder by many studios, so why are they still using this ?? lots of reasons, with the d8b desk you get 0.4ms latency, yep 0.4, not 40, not even 4, 0.4 ! and that is recording 24 tracks at 24 bit AT THE SAME TIME and they sound great, the analog to digi converters in this are top draw and dedicated for the job of creating Very high quality 24 bit 44.1, 48 or 96k wavs, was your pc designed for this ???? All the software as said is built in, just add a monitor a mouse and a keyboard and any desk you then have a studio ready to go. Sick of your daw crashing ??? yep... been there also hence getting these, these are rock solid, NO pc's to crash, N0 dodgy software to freeze, no downloading rubbish drivers and the best bit...no crappy windows in the back ground sucking up all your processor power. each track has 8 virtual tracks for other takes. so.... lets think about this for a min, thats 24 x 8 which gives you 192 tracks per song of 24 bit waves !! , and all wavs are viewable on screen, even at the same time if you wanted, You can of course move the wavs if wanted to your daw for editing mixing easy. or use this with your daw, as you have a choice of cards to put in the back either ... ADAT, 24 tracks in and 24 out...or Analog 25 pin Dsubs which will give you 24 tracks in and out using Jacks or XLR or both, ...or AES EBU 24 tracks in and 24 out, Or even a combination of all of them, was there anything else made that could offer this ?? the answer is NO you can even clock two or three together. So....loads of options It has been maxed out, top memory top processor, and has the up graded bios to use larger drives im also giving you the choice of in/out cards to use so your ready to go right away analog or digi in/outs, Prob best if you are serious about recording and are interested is to pop round and check it out, i think you will be shocked. I have tracks that have been released using this if you want to hear. I can send a manual as a pdf if wanted, but loads ofinfo is ready available on line, i still use two of these linked to a d8b and dont plan changing them in the future, these are my spare ones and are just not getting used, and i need other studio toys 🙂. For sale is a very nice all 100% working mackie VLZ pro 16 channel mixing desk for band or studio. If you know the mackie range you will know the VLZ range is mackies top of the line in portable mixers, dont get these confused with the other ones, the pre amps in these VLZs are studio quality pre amps from the onyx desk, 6 aux sends the faders and pots are also of better quality and all with metal stand off supports, not just soldered to the board, and the power supplys in them are better, you can leave these things on all day and wont burn out like the cheaper ones, as they were designed for the pro market, something else which is a dead giveaway is they had gone through the expense of giving you the full 16 channels of microphone inputs and not as on the budget ones giving you only 8 mic inputs and then some split channel phono inputs. i have found the rack ears which are unused and have put them on ready, so... its all ready to go, all the input/output section is reversible so you can have all that top section above the input gains on top like it is now, or turned 90 degrees so they are all at the rear. it also has phantom power on every channel. Its a good price . collection from ellesmere port PS i do have a mackie hdr 24 track recorder also for sale to go with this if wanted see my other listing

cheers 🙂 its a little gem, these have a solid spruce center block that runs the length of the body so you get more sustain and less feed back which the hollow bodys suffer from, so essentially its a solid body guitar but with hollow body wings, in terms of build quality, its flawless, gretsch's cheaper end range of guitars are defo up there with the best in terms of bang for buck build quality, fret edges no catches at all, paint perfect, binding all round you cant feel a single ridge with your nail, neck is bang on, i really cant fault it. i think gretsch have a tighter control over QC standards from their overseas production than allot of other guitar companies, even there black hawk drum kits for the money are unbeatable, its fair to say i do like gretsch. in fact im only selling this to add to it and get a Brian setzer.
