  1. Did a gig where I was sitting on stage puking up into a bucket. Not my finest moment.
  2. How many years will they be sat on the website do you think?
  3. Aye, Amazon and eBay are probably your goto to get them the quickest.
  4. Whats the format of your HD? Whats your monitor?
  5. Why so many models? Because they have figured out that places like head-fi.org are obsessive about such things. Price them cheap enough and they will sell loads (many models to an individual too) as people in that space are borderline obsessive about comparing and contrasting. This advertising piece did make me smirk though - "shocking sound quality"
  6. I dont think solo bass is her bag to be fair. She's great in a band situation playing rock. But then again, if you are looking at selling basses... I've never thought the bass demos for Andertons has ever been that great tbf... but meh, what would I know. I'm not the target audience.
  7. For those using XLRS from the desk... this may be quite useful - Wired like - That way you are on a standard XLR cable.
  8. Just incase anybody is thinking about how to terminate a XLR one end (so that they can use a single XLR with a stereo signal with a P2)
  9. As for jacks falling out... get something xlr based and it will lock in.
  10. @police squadhttps://www.pmtonline.co.uk/lynx-al22s-headphone-splitter-with-1-4-inch-connectors Sorry to hear about your headphone infection - get on top of it quickly. I had an infection that left me with permanent problems.
  11. You’d be better off putting a mixer in front of your headphone amp to sum first. You could then use the headphone out on that mixer (and use a passive vol belt pack to have an easy to reach vol control) - or use the line output to go into a powered headphone belt pack.
  12. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Microphone-SYNCO-Smartphone-Streaming-Wireless-Lavalier-Microphone-SYNCO-G2/dp/B091L4WZ91/
  13. (There's probably a cheaper chinese knockoff - but you probably want both the mic and the mic input options on the transmitters (not that you can use both simultaneously - but it gives you options) You can output from the receiver into the P2 to give you a more useful, quick access volume control. The Rodes will need line of sight though...
  14. Im thinking along the lines of the RODE Wireless Go 2 - a bit left field. Two transmitters, one receiver. So use them as just mics, or use the LR from the desk to send to one of each of the transmitters.
  15. Would 250 quid be classed as cheap(ish)? (Remember, this is wireless IEMs)
  16. Usually pretty consistent here. But it depends upon what you are using. The biggest variance for me would be drums and percussion )which are miced) - everything is through modellers. Using a separate monitor desk may be one of the reasons for such consistency however, as EQ and stuff never really changes and doesn't need to change... all the room based EQ and processing is on the main desk. Even with one desk, I wouldn't haven't thought that there should be that much variance... unless you have mics that are picking up a load of the room (and there's reasons why you wouldn't want to gate them (e.g. overheads, percussion toys, lead vocals etc)
  17. Thats the studio for you. In a studio, you can wrangle a bass tone to be almost anything you want!
  18. Out of the ultranet of the XR18... into the first P16M... them out of that P16M into the next P16M... then out of that second P16M into the next..... rinse/repeat
  19. Those rear plates and front ferrules could be hiding a multitude of split edge sins though.
