2. Hi, Is this sold
 3. Hiya Mick, You know that the 61 Strat is sooo near perfection and it goes ever so well alongside my "Ole Skool Desk". I see you have reduced the price of your Marleaux' - are you going after the Wals or paying off the balance for your sexual reassignment operation.
 4. Thought I had better inform you all, I have bought this bass along with the £170 Geddy Lee, £150 Marcus Miller and the £220 (a bit steep I know) Jacco Custom Shop Fretless. The seller has said that once his Uncle in Nigeria who works for the finance department clears a £5,000,000 cheque into my account they are mine. Do they need my PIN number and Password to pay a large cheque in
 5. A truly fantastic pair of Basses - I will miss them when you sell them Mick. Have a free BUMP on me

If only these were 5s I .......
If only they were Left Handed .......
If only they were Sonic (Insert colour choice) ......
If only these were my YOB .......
If only they had Bolt On .........
................................................
That has got the usual guff statements out of the way. If I think of or see any more Mick I will let you know. Good luck with the sale.

 9. Took a chance with a left of field solution. Gave the case to a firm that repairs leather furniture. Got it back and they made a superb job without overdoing it. 15. I received the following email from Roger himself. This puts to rest all the theories and speculation. Hi Patrick, Well, as I am still alive and still making guitars, perhaps I should straighten all this up. This guitar is not a prototype Pack Leader, but there is a connection. The PL's were designed and made first-I dont have my notes to hand, but certainly around 1978. Pack Leader didnt survive, because the guitars were too difficult and expensive to make. The Fylde Electric took over when PL closed and used a lot of the tooling etc that I had made for the PL. It has the same body shape and contours, but with heavily rounded corners rather than bindings. Everything else about it was an attempt to maker it easier to make but add value with active pickups etc. It was made up till 1980. Great guitars. Hope that clarifies everything Roger Bucknall
