1. please remove post - pedals either sold or not being sold
 2.
Catalinbread Heliotrope is way more awesome than the Bug Crusher
fek - just watched the vid for that pedal - sounds awesome!!
 3. hey matt, just to add another option, i have a george dennis chorus/flanger for sale. nicest chorus i've tried, i just don't ever use it! (plus my boiler packed in last month so skint!!) - some piccies here, going for £55, very nice pedal.. 4.
I love the PT Mini! So sleek and svelte, and forces you to be economical with your pedal choices.
yeah, i'm a recent convert. plus, i don't like having to step over pedals when playing live, so having them all in a row is safer!!
 5.
Played this at a jam session today: Last time I take a board without a delay  I need to get a PT mini for times like these...
dude, what's the micro phaser like - is it a 4-stage (phase 90-esque)??
 6. OK, sorry, but back to another pedaltrain mini post!! Used to have the ElectroniX fuzz on this board and the 442 filter but I'm needing 2 delays for my band right now... it's a pretty straightforward setup but does the job for me right now!
 7. if the ibanez worked sound-wise for you, have you looked into the maxon delays? i have an AD9-pro, awesome delay, but possibly a bit above your price range (2nd hand may be ok)
 8.
Set this up and used last night for a rehearsal. M9 is just great. edit: erm, the picture has upside-downed itself... edited edit: ah, thats better
good to see someone else out there with a sumbarine
 9.
Before you dump your Fuel Tank Jr. you may want to check-out what this guy does. Might make you think twice: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthrea...;highlight=mini If the page tells you that you have to be a member, try this link, it's a mirror: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?t=2472374 Modding a Mini to accomodate a Fuel Tank Jr. is very doable.
ooh - cool, some of those look dead tidy. to be honest, it's probably more work than i can be bothered with!! i have a buyer for the mini anyway, and the diago is on order, but thanks for the suggestion!
 10. MP pedals do sound nice though, had the deep blue delay for a while, for short delays it was immense
 11.
That's a pretty good summary of my experience also. The blend really helps and the phaser is on the subtle side. I find that it compliments my tone versus becomes my tone. I really like it. They are expensive, but, if you shop around, you can find them used at a more reasonable cost. That's what I did and paid much less than $300.00 US. In fact there are a couple on evilbay right now for about $250.00 US.
still prety pricey for my needs, but each to their own - i think a phase 45 sounds just as good for the subtle thing on bass, but way cheaper...
 12.
How's that Tiny Orange Phaser? Always wondered about one of them bad boys on Bass
i had quite a long play on one in my mates shop recently - really quite liked it. Not many phasers i've tried have a blend function, and i quite like subtlety for phasers, so it worked a treat for me. MP pedals are damn expensive though... couldn't justify spending that much on a phaser
 13. ok, so i'm looking to get a diago to power up my pedaltrain mini - but there seem to be 2 versions on sale?!? one comes with the 'standard' daisy chain, straight ended, and the other seems to have the 90 degree ended daisy chain cables included (which i want), which other companies have as a £10 extra... am i being stupid, what gives?!?!
 14. PJ that pedaltrain mini is awesome... i had a larger board but got a mini myself last week, but my t-rex fuel tank junior is too big - looks like the diago is the perfect fit, so cheers!! i'll be putting a pic of mine up next week once the diago arrives - all hail the pedaltrain mini!!!
 15.
"Presidents Of The United States Of America" come to mind, and if I'm correct the bass player and the guitarist only had 5 strings between them (just played 5ths)
i can't remember the name of this bass, but remember somebody telling me about it months ago, that it was made as a limited run as there was a cock up and a series of necks were made / ordered of the wrong thickness! and presidents were both guitarists, both playing guitars with 2 or 3 strings... saw them in bristol the other year, still going strong!
 16. Hey all, i picked up a loovely old Tokai yesterday, and am struggling to find any info on the web to help me date the thing. it says 'tokai custom edition' in script on the headstock, quite small writing, and then has the fender rip-off 'oldies but goldies' writing. rosewood board, sunburst, black scratch plate, thick, cluby neck. sounds fantastic... there is a single review for this exact bass on harmony central, where the guy thinks 1984, limited edition run. my hunch is post lawsuit era, though possible a couple of years later than mr. harmony central thinks. anyone else come across one of these tokai's - any idea on age??? thanks! - will add pics later
 17. without question - i'd say the electronix crossdrive. it's really vintagey sounding, v.bassey, and mxr-sized. have a look on their website, they're selling off some ex-demo stock, and a barely used crossdrive is going for $84.99. i have one of these pedals, and it's awesome, exactly what you're after IMO
 18.
Price on the barge concepts VB?
if i decide to sell, i'll move it on for £60 + postage, what i paid for it v.recently... but still not sure i wanna let it go!
 19. ok, so just a feeler right now, but i'm potentially looking to get rid of a few bits and pieces as i'm downsizing my setup to a pedaltrain mini... I have a T-Rex Tone Trunk 42 pedalboard with carry case. Less than 3 months old, never left the living room! Also, a T-Rex Junior PSU. This is also perfect condition, never gigged. Comes with loads of leads, daisy chains, leads for 18v, etc. Pictures of both of these below... Pictures... I also have a barge concepts VB-jr i am not using, which i may be tempted to sell (need to raise some cash for that pedaltrain mini!!) ideally, looking to sell the 2 T-Rex items together. Bought for £180, the cheapest i found them on the web for today was £89 and £80, so £169 together. They're as good as new, so looking for £120 ONO.
 20. good thread! i'm in two bands right now, but the main one is MyOwnFlag - we've been playing since 2002. It's a 3-piece, I guess you'd call us post-hardcore/post-rock, i've never been good at genres! influences are pretty wide ranging, from the obvious like QOTSA, at the drive-in, fugazi & deftones, through to the more post-rock side of things with dianogah, shellac, slint, and shipping news. Great for me, as the music is pretty bass-driven, so lots of space to fill! There's a couple fo tunes on the olbligatory myspace, and the new album ('Divello') is on spotify so you can listen free! myspace page cheers all! Gaz
 21. My band MyOwnFlag launch our new album at the Louisiana in Bristol tonight. Should be a damn good night! If anyones in the Bristol area and stuck for something to do... We're joined by deathoflondon, from Leicester, and 2 more Bristol bands, Merrick and Bullwhip. Myspace links below: MyOwnFlag post-hardcore/alt rock angry riffery from us! And joining us will be... deathoflondon simply f***ing awesome band, coming down from Leicester for the night. Definitely worth checking out, hardcore/post rock/postman... I'm sh*t at describing music! Plenty of tunes and vids on the myspace.... Merrick Cracking tools/deftones esque stuff from Merrick, always a good crack. Bullwhip and the ace Bullwhip, Fugazi/Jawbox esque! Anyways, superb stuff.
 22. damn that's a nice bass! i have the 1983 JV squier 62 P, in exactly the same colour scheme.... oooh if i had £900 pounds.
 23.
They started again and have a new website (featuring an updated Submarine): http://musicelectronix.com/
yeah they've been back building for a good few months now i think. full range of pedals on the e-bay shop (though they're in fact built to order, but took Os less than a week to build my 2 orders and dispatch) and Os (main man at electronix) is really helpful and quick to respond to e-mails (similar to brad at tonefactor when i've emailed him). i agree though, the sound clips on their website are v.annoying, but the pedals Os made for me recently not only sound great but are REALLY well made. there is a good review on the crossdrive (then called facedrive) on bassfuzz.com i think. if i had the technology i'd do some sound clips of the crossdrive, it's the best fuzz i've ever used or heard on bass, and i've tried a few..
 24.
Broom Stick Audio Devices Bottom Feeder
broom stick audio? WITCHCRAFT I TELL YOU!!! if anyone is after a filter, these are the absolute business...
