1. I've got the 5 string version and it is by far and away my favourite bass. Beautiful feel to them, great sound, stunning finish. I like mine so much I only pull it out for gigs where I know there is zero risk of hurting it, the rest of the time I'm on an old Yamaha! Such a shame they don't make them any more.
2. I've got the 5 string version, absolutely incredible basses - sound great, look amazing and play like a dream! I went through a phase of collecting higher end basses but kinda gave up after I found these. Only thing that would get me in the buying mood again is a 5 string in a different colour!
3. "How can this get no love?" Well I think the main problem with these is that they don't have an american brand on them. I've got one in maple and it is by far and away the highest quality, best playing and versatile basses I've played. Bongo hasn't even come out of the case since I owned the Yammy!
4. I'm always on the look out for one of these for the right price so will keep an eye on this. What is the condition of the body, is there any buckle rash or dings to it?
5. Terrible basses, just terrible. Look awful with their straight through necks and perfectly crafted fancy wood work. And the sound, well, just far too many options with two massive pickups, a piezo, 35 inch neck, active electronics etc. And I'd know I own one!... Of course, Id be willing to put all that aside and acquire a 2nd in this colour for the right price. Check your PMs ;-)
6. Bought a POG 2 Octave pedal from Rob and all went smoothly. Would happily buy from him again.

8. Hmmmm, not really. But you can never have too many basses, right?!
9. These are ridiculously good basses, any buyer will not be disappointed! I have one in flamed maple and will probably by another at some stage as they are discontinued, but probably not just yet!
10. As a fellow Bongoer, what makes it a Limited Edition?
11.
I had one of these. It was a great bass. I only sold it as I found the 35" scale a bit big for my small hands I didn't have any issues with the weight. Good luck with the sale.
Sorry for the thread hijack (on the plus side you do get a free bump!) but I've got question about the scale difference. I've seen quite a few people on the forums comment about how the 35" scale is too big for them etc and with this being my first non-34" base I was genuinely concerned about how I would find the transition, particularly as I planned to use my other bases for practices and only wheel this one out for the more 'upmarktet' gigs where I wouldn't risk damaging one of these incredible bases. Turns out I can't tell the difference whatsoever and in reasoning it I figured it is one extra inch, 25.4 millimetre, which spread across 24 frets and the pickups is less than a millimetre difference per fret! How do people notice such tiny tolerances or am I missing something? p.s. please don't take this as me having a go at those that don't get along with 35" scale bases, I'm genuinely just curious (and hopefully for the OP, putting some potential buyers minds at rest that some really cant tell the difference!).
12. I have the 5 string of this in flamed maple and whilst its heavy on the scales, it is very well balanced and really doesn't feel that heavy at all. Incredible basses tone and construction wise, can't recommend them enough!
13. I bought the bass (TRB5Pii) that Beedster mentions above off Ed today. He was an absolute gent to deal with and when I expressed interest in the bass, he offered to hold it for me for me (without payment or deposit) for almost 2 months while I was out of the country; if that isn't first class service I don't know what is! Anyway, if you are you looking to buy/sell something off Ed, do so with complete confidence. Thanks Ed, was a pleasure doing business and the bass is a dream to play!

A 5HH and I'd have taken it off your hands!!
15. Nice basses to play but one of the heaviest I've had on; expect it to be around 5kg.
16. Is the Babicz bridge you have for sale a 4 or a 5 and how much?
17. Ignore, I must have checked the video just moments after you fixed the link and posted before you updated the forum. Good luck with the sale.
18. I can see it, do you just need to be logged into youtube?

SOLD

A 5HH and I'd have taken it off your hands! Clearly a useless piece of information, but at least you get a free bump!
20. Damn that is a lot of great German bass for the money. Tempted but I'm holding out for a $$! Have a free bump though.
21. It's missing a string; I'd lap this up it if was a 5 string! Good luck with the sale.
22. Thanks kindly, as expected it was operator error on my behalf; I had misread the L! Marshall, check you PMs in about 5 mins!
23. Can you confirm where this bass was made? I've put the serial number into the checker on the Warwick site but it comes up with "not found". Might be that the I'm putting the serial number in incorrectly as its a bit hard to read!
24. God there are some gorgeous basses on this site at the moment! Unfortunately I would end up being too scared to mark it and never playing it!
25. Tell you what would be interesting, doing the whole thing again blind and seeing what bass you thought was which!! I have to agree, I actually really like the sound of the Yamaha; I really like the feel of them too hence depsite having a vintage(ish) Precision and a Bongo my gigging bass is a Yamaha 605 with ultra jazzes and a bartolini preamp!
