  1. I picked up a Laney digbeth just before the weekend. Thought I'd try a light weight option again. Sounded really really good...and there's no glass in it....full transistor. I like the interface on the front after a bit of getting used to it and it just delivers a lovely old school bass sound but can get really low. So in summary....more options now but the matamp still has the edge
  2. Strange....I'll turn it off and on again Which has worked!!! Thanks! ✌️
  3. Is there a problem today with pictures? I have space on account but get an unknown server error pop up? This is in a new post or edit of existing. Cheers
  4. So I'm selling a few pedals and I guess you could say that they're pretty sweet. MERIS MERCURY 7: £235 An absolutely wonderful, ethereal, cinematic experience in a pedal. Probably the best reverb pedal I've had the pleasure of playing and it's a reluctant sale. Two incredible algorithms, midi capable and a huge stereo capability. Unboxed but will be very well packaged. Velcro on underside. Here's a pretty sweet video of it in action: https://youtu.be/SAag8PAF3tQ Sold - BOSS CHORUS ENSEMBLE CE-5: £55 Super awesome chorus pedal that can dial in some nice 80s vibes and lush, rich tones. I haven't played many choruses and pretty carefully purchased this one and instantly clicked with it. I use my h9 now but I prefer this, but it's not boarded so letting it go. Comes with box. Pristine condition. Sold - TC ELECTRONICS 3rd DIMENSION: £30 Alternative to the boss dimension C at a waaaaaay better price and a small difference on tone. I used it for a short time then wanted full chorus but this offers a really cool flavour. Pristine, feet on bottom. Comes with box. Prices include postage. Shout me with any questions, I get to Bedford/ Stevenage pretty regularly if a handovers preferred. Pics now below! Cheers 😎✌️
  5. Top riffs dude!!
  6. Hi, how do you adjust the tweeter? Just reviewed the barefaced website and it says variable but I've never seen a control. Thanks ✌️
  7. I think you just purchased the two-notes off me? Nice board ✌️
  8. How do the strategy and prodigy compare to the 400? Great array of rigs! ✌️
  9. A few small updates to my board...h9 has made a reappearance to keep it fairly compact on a pt2, gone with a smaller dedicated tuner, added two dedicated outs on the side and added a riser for the Volante to make tap and hold accessible. Really impressed with it.....considering it's just a bit of metal. May be one small change coming but this set up works really well for me.
  10. Works well on bass down to A, maybe a wobbly-ish G Excellent A and above. Blend knob on the pedal gives you blend control to taste. It sounds ace
  11. EHX B9 in top condition. Layer some massive organ effects into your sound, sounds amazing. £125 gets you the pedal, PSU and paperwork, the box, second class postage. Any questions drop me a line. PayPal / bank transfer available. Price is cleared funds. Cheers ✌️
  12. I've only seen a IS price so far at 899. I thought it was 'reasonable'/ comparable compared to other products like the Meris LVX.... I guess line 6 offers more in the way of ampless option though, but I love eventide sounds.
  13. Video releases Eventide: https://youtu.be/8ixY3RvKKzA Sweetwater: https://youtu.be/T9eN0ddoj40 https://youtu.be/koN_Wpja6jY
  14. Looks like eventide have leaked some info. I'm really interested in this, even though I've just readded an H9 to my board. Most extensive info I've seen so far: https://vintageking.com/blog/2022/11/eventide-h90-pedal/ EVENTIDE H90 FEATURES To get a better sense of how much the Eventide H90 has to offer, feast your eyes on the lengthy list of features below. 15. Rationalised a touch following an atom upgrade to include the tuner capability. Bit lighter, fewer pedals and everything fits on a pt2 now...see how long this lasts I guess... I do like the h9...but I also really like the MERIS mercury 7...
  16. You still got the matamp? How's the head of doom?
  17. I regret selling my mf delay.
  18. My gigrig atom is in for an upgrade, so just went with this simple set up at rehearsal tonight instead of fuzzes and delays and verbs.... I've only just recently reacquired the XXL. I absolutely love it. Wonderfully filthy distortion. Don't see many around these days...shame. I love it.
  19. Thanks for all the thoughts and recommendations. For the interim, I've landed on an iLoud MTM which I picked up for £120. I'll be adding a second in the future but initially for low volume practice, it's ace. Need the second before I de headphone when mixing etc obviously. As a result I've quite got into preamps which I haven't really taken much notice of before
  20. Final pre recording update to my board. Been after a chorus and took a flyer on the TC 3rd dimension. I like it a lot and think it works pretty well, so chucked it on. Pretty out of space now so need to stop again but really happy with the sounds I'm getting
  21. Nice set up. What loops are you using? I've just run out on my atom I think. Im pretty new to midi but found it reasonably straight forward with the g3. Just have to cross reference pedal manual with gigrig set up. I'm better at pc than cc though and I also have to write down patches and presets or I forget
  22. I've taken to running a head, plus a head as a boost as my standard rehearsal rig lately. Just getting into stereo on my delay as well. Heavy but very, very enjoyable.... And it crushes
  23. Sold a twonotes cabm to PG - really smooth transaction. Would definitely transact again.
  24. I really should try a passive at some point....
  25. We're a one guitar band as well. More trad end with some more modern passages. I've always used a fuzz as a result to cover space, together with volume. I'm the same with pbasses but can't say I have a recommendation from your list I'm afraid. Lakeland sticks out to me with the Geezer connection. I've always just gone for whatever I personally liked the look of/ playability. If it doesn't 'fit' the genre but you make it sound ace and enjoy playing it then it'll become a genre popular off the back of you
