1. Hmm quite true However i never play bare foot and i didnt use it at the gig last night... so you should be ok
2. possible p/x for an Ibanez SRX08 Ltd special edition? All gold hardware, a paint-job you wont find anywhere else, massively adaptable 2 band eq and 2 fat ground shaking (but achingly slappable and perfect for finger-style) humbuckers? plus some cash? would really love that bass Oh and the black paint has gold sparkles in that really catch the light onstage
3. Hmm very true performed beautifully at a gig I played last night, didn't get above 1 on the volume though :L was a folk club after all, and I was pa'd Even the sound man liked it I'm more after a jazz anyway so, go on then
4. Don't mean to be cheeky but... Could you keep me posted on a straight sale too? Unless you'd be interested in an Ibanez SRX08 Ltd edition etc? For trade or p/x ?
5. Another 414 player here I really do like the necks, slim and fast without being too thin, if you get me I've compared an ibanez SRX series and a Warwick Rockbass Corvette to it and the 414 wins every time for me. Great variety of tone, nice neck and a comfortable body. Anyway that's just my 2p

If you’re looking for professional bass sounds in a portable, affordable package then Bass Floor POD is for you. Amplifier models emulated by the Line6 Bass Floor Pod Clean Inspired by* the Eden Traveler, this model is all about clean, funk and fusion bass tone. It’ll give you all the warm lows and punchy highs you need R&B Inspired by* a 1968 B-15 Flip Top, this model is a tribute to those late 60’s and early 70’s clean fat bass tones. It is the kind of tone you hear on most Motown recordings, as played by a pioneering young James Jamerson. Rock This model is inspired by* the ’74 Ampeg® SVT®. This workhorse has appeared on innumerable recordings and arena stages worldwide. And now all the tone of the 300-pound behemoth 8X10 and head is available in your combo! Grind As the name would suggest, this is for modern rock lovers, Alice in Chains to Mudvayne and Rage Against The Machine. Based on* a distorted SansAmp PSA-1 into an SVT® in addition to a direct clean bass signal mixed in, this model gives you that angry, clear and punchy aggression that takes your sound to DEFCON 1. Synth Sitting at the back of the model knob is this secret weapon that turns your Bass Floor POD into a classic’70s bass synth. From funk to modern rock, this synth model delivers incredible tones and tracks every dynamic move you make with ease. It’s time to get those great bass effects you’re looking for with none of the hassle. Bass Floor POD Smart Control FX gives you ridiculously easy operation of essential bass effects including an Envelope Filter, Octaver, and Chorus. Just turn the knob for the desired intensity of the effect and you’re ready to go. You also have a built-in wah/volume pedal. Smart Control FX Envelope Filter Modeled after* an Electro-Harmonix® Q-Tron, this is the baddest envelope filter on the planet. This effect has been used on countless funk records from the 70s through today. An envelope filter is a wah-wah type effect that is controlled by the dynamics of your bass note instead of being controlled by your feet. Octaver Modeled after* the EBS® OctaBass®, this effect produces a single note one octave below the pitch of the played note, adding a powerful new vibe to your sound. Chorus Modeled after* the iconic T.C. Electronic® Chorus, this is the most transparent, smooth and expressive bass chorus ever built. Using it will not reduce your low end. It is especially beautiful on fretless bass." This is a fantastic bit of Bass modelling and multi F/X equipment. I have used it mainly at home and at rehearsals. It has been gigged once at a small venue where it quite literally saved the day when the pre-amplifier in my amplifier head stopped working. I am only selling because I have decided to go for separate stomp boxes. Go to http://line6.com/bassfloorpod/index.html for more information. Review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7_2HWlAv2s Viewings and trials welcome. It comes fully boxed with power supply and warranty information. Price: £80 ono (Postage will be £10 but I would prefer pickup) also available for p/x on anything Feel free to PM me with offers, trades will be considered Craig
7. Can this be fitted onto a bass with 5 holes for the bridge? Would drilling it be required? Cheers, Craig
8. Is it possible to fit a badass III onto a body with 5 holes rather than 3? mainly for aesthetic reasons :L
9. Ah just wait till you get used to the 414
10. Oh and I totally agree, the matching headstock is great
11. Yeah the pickups on the bb414 are so powerful it's a great bass. I was planning on buying a new one, another yamaha but one of the rbx series just as a backup but, with the quality of the bb414, I think I might just upgrade it's hardware and leave it at that. Badass 2 methinks
12. Hmm, I just wonder how much difference the through body stringing will make, as that seems the only difference I could tell
13. Just had a look at the 424, looks very similar (obviously) but without the matching headstock which I think looks amazing on my 414 :/
14. Sorry to hijack but, what's the difference between the 414 and the 424? And i think my 414's electrics are definitely powerful, much stronger than my warwick rockbass corvette
15. Yamaha RBX A2 is only 6lbs i think?
16. I would love this! But I live in Bournemouth IF you would only post it
