1. RHCP for me, Band wanted to play Can't Stop so I just learnt it, found it fun and everything and now I jump into it occasionally when the mood fits. Should look at developing it more though - double thumbing and the like.
2. Well i've got a gotoh 201 on the way to fit on my yamaha bb414, so i'l tell you what i think
3. Hmm, trade for an Ibanez SRX08 ltd? quite similar to the epi but with a 24 fret neck and really easy upper fret access. The 2 band eq is really powerful, lets you dial in a really warm growly town reminiscent of a split p on the bridge, or quite a harsh trebly solo sound on the bridge, quite reminiscent of a soloed jazz pickup. Drop me a line, I can record a little demo if you want but it won't be anything special playing or recording wise
4. Still not interested in trades? Even if I told you they magically won't sell unless you accept?
5. Ha ok, I will try and make it After all, when else am I going to get the opportunity to talk about all things stringed with anyone that isnt a guitard (bit of a lack off bass players around here in Bournemouth)
6. Still for sale with reduced price, also will consider all offers for this being a p/x on a bass, currently looking at something similar to a fender jazz MiM will add cash to any p/x
7. See, I'm interested in coming but... my basses are nothing compared to you more experienced (and richer) people's stuff Might be a tad embarrassed

9. If it's still here when my Ibanez has gone I'l be all over this
10.
Hiya Craig, not in need of any more basses at the moment, wouldn't mind the Pod as a P/X though. Text could be bigger too, can hardly read that
Ah just sold the pod gotta remove it from my name now And yeah i went for eye-catching and my have over-shot
11. trade or p/x for an ibanez srx08 ltd? The one in my signature, sure is a looker
12.
r how about an amp that sounds like Barry White's first dump of the day hitting the pan amplified through a tuba at the bottom of the ocean? Clear as mud and easily overpowered by the bell off a bicycle. But that's no way to talk about Ashdown
lol!
13. For sale today is an IBANEZ SRX08 Ltd Special Edition This is an absolutely stunning bass. It was made only briefly by Ibanez during srping 2008. It has a powerful boost/cut 2 band eq (bass and treble) and 2 high output humbuckers. The hardware is all gold and completely tarnish free. The body has some scratches (as can be expected from a used bass) and a very small amount of buckle rash on the back - hardly noticeable. The Blurb: The Ibanez SRX08LTD 4-String Bass Guitar, Limited Edition, Japan Black finish. Enchanting Sakura Blast styled SRX bass, highly versatile with active EQ and high-output humbuckers, at a great price. The Ibanez SRX08LTD bass guitar has superb flexibility and affordability. If the SR is the ambassador of the Ibanez bass line, the SRX is the enforcer, the bass that uses a little extra muscle to get the job done. Equally at home bashing through a set of metallic thrash as it is playing funky soul, the SRX's high-output, passive pickups can both move mountains and smooth the rough seas. The Limited Edition SRX08LTD-JPB (Japan Black) has a special 'Japan Black' finish with red body binding, an agathis body, slim and fast SRX4 maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard and 24 medium frets. The B100 adjustable bridge keeps the tuning stability well. The Ibanez SRX08LTD has incredible tonal flexibility with its Ibanez PFR high-output/passive humbucking pickups and onboard 2-band active eq. with Bass and Treble Boost/Cut controls plus Volume and Balancer controls. Other special touches include the clear pickguard with a 'Cherry Blossom' carving design and gold hardware. The SRX08LTD delivers all the quality you expect from Ibanez at a great price. The main features of the Ibanez SRX08LTD include: Enchanting Sakura Blast styled SRX bass, highly versatile with active EQ and high-output humbuckers, at a great price The original Soundgear fast neck and comfortable body shape Extra powerful passive full range pickups with exposed black pole pieces offer extreme high output 2-band EQs for perfect low end tone 3pc SRX4 maple neck Agathis body Rosewood Fingerboard with pearl dot inlays Scale: 864mm/34 inch Width at Nut: 38mm 24 Medium frets Sealed die cast tuners Gold hardware 'Cherry Blossom' carving pickguard design B100 adjustable bridge (19mm string spacing) PFR-N4 Neck Pickup (Black Pole Pieces) PFR-B4 Bridge Pickup (Black Pole Pieces) Equaliser: EQB-II DX 2-band eq Volume, Balancer, Bass Boost/Cut and Treble Boost/Cut controls The chip is the only damage to the bass. It is far smaller than it looks in the picture, as can be seen by the extremely small gold sparkles that are around it. I would be looking for around £275, but hit me with any offers/trades/comments. I am looking for a fender jazz bass (probably MiM) which is the reason I am selling the Ibby. Please pm me for any specific higher resolution pictures. Happy Buying! Craig PRICE DROP: £260 ONO for quick sale!
14. I play using the amp head from the range and the 4x10 from the range, I have to say it is blisteringly loud! It more than keeps up with the band at rehearsals and gigs without going anywhere near max volume :/ this is also without an extension cab so it is only putting out 300 watts. I would definitely get a second opinion of someone who has used one of these amps before and then go for a refund. If you'are anywhere near me (Bournemouth) I'd be glad to come and have a listen Craig
