1. +1 Being in a similar situation to the OP, I was hoping to be able to read through this thread and get some advice for my own situation from the masses of older, more experienced bassists on this forum. Ah well, getting used to what could have been informative and beneficial threads degrading into nothing more than slanging matches...
2. Have a gander at this: Marshall Rig
3.
I think you fancy him. Is this some kind of a lover spurned reaction?
4.
Its this one http://www.audereaudio.com/JZ3.htm
According to the page it has 3 different configurations.
5. I want to! Just need to sell some other gear. So many great options on here at the moment, unfortunately noone wants mine!
6. I'm one of those students who has the books with the notation and tab underneath, it is almost impossible I think to not look at the tab when it is just there. However, every other bass player my age that I know relies on tab I personally think that the best thing to do would be to separate the two parts out like was mentioned above, but only if economically viable. Otherwise you would be defeating the object of having the tab in there to start with, to reach this wider market and get more sales. Otherwise the 'traditional' line of tab under each line of notation may be the best option... Oh and I'd love to 'trial' your book like Craig Edit for spelling.
7. I'm gonna be all over this when my marshall stuff sells!
8. Another one of yours that I am interested in! Again, if/once the marshall stuff sells I' be all over this, but I wouldn't hold your breath! Bit of a noob question, after playing with the 300 watt marshall half stack, how do you think this handles quite loud rock gigs? It's the same power but through a single 10 and 15 rather than a 4x10...
9. Can this be used as a preamp in it's own right? Is the output high enough..?
10. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
11. Look chaps, Its not light, Its not cute, but it's loud, proud and pretty damn cheap!
12. Well thats a bit of an unfair statistical assumption that all marshalls are liable to explode. Sorry, bit of a pointless hijack
13. Made in a munitions factory? Does that mean it's liable to explode?! At least my 'cheap, nasty' marshall setup won't do that!
14. See, I really want all of this.... But you live so far away
15. Any chance of postage? I'm Bournemouth based unfortunately.
16. Any chance of postage? I'm Bournemouth based unfortunately.
17. Thanks man! Its been great, however, with big gigs on the horizon an upgrade is in order . As soon as this sells that is
