1. Maybe rebadged was the wrong word, the model evolved into, may be a better one. Had my info from here: http://poszukaj.elektroda.pl/szukaj,eminen...a-pro-15lf.html (5th post down) http://www.volny.cz/master_akustik/em_b.htm (Look down to delta 12 and then in the info box) http://www.technovox.se/index.php/servicep...a/eminence.html (Look down to the '1998 updated eminence range). I'm not normally one to blindly trust what a google search comes up with, but that's the best I could come up with.
2. I've found the specs for the Delta12. http://www.tsprosoundandlight.co.uk/view-p...inence-Delta-12 From what I've read, in a few places now, the EM12-2008s were rebadged as the Delta12s, so I will use their specs to build my cab, and see what happens!
3. The seller has just informed me, they are Eminence ME12s and are 300W and 8 ohms. I assume they are the Me12-2008 speakers, which were rebranded as the Delta 12s. There seems to be a few arguments online as to whether they are suitable for electric bass or not. At £25 a driver, however, I'm thinking 'Why Not'.
4.
Maybe, but probably not such a huge one as to endanger anything. There's a fair bit of wiggle room, if you are just making a bass cab. Go a little bigger on teh box, and have a port you can change the length of, like a telescopic one, that gives you options. Edit: typo
Cheers, much appreciated.
5.
What does ithe sticker on the side of the magnet say?
Having not bought them yet... I will ask the person selling them! Good spot.
6. Ok, cheers! Would the 'differences' have any effect on the spec sheet for the deltapro 12a? I've also chucked it into Winisd (the online one as I am on a mac) and it seems to give me some ok results? I hope... As I don't really know what I'm doing with it
7. There are some Eminence speakers for sale very near where I live that I am interested in purchasing. I'm looking for some cheap 12" drivers for a DIY cab project, as such, would like to identify the model so I can find out the specs to determine various aspects of the build. Unfortunately, there is not much to go on... The specs I do know are: they are Eminence speakers, 12" drivers, 8 ohms, 400 watts rms. Previously used in 2x12 scoop bass bins. If anyone has any ideas, let me know!
8.
Bump
Uh... I think I bought this...? It's sat next to me so...

10. That sounds great, a breakdown of what and how you are doing it would be sweet!
11. I'm assuming most people on here will know what this is, for those that don't, here's the manufacturers description: BB414 combines classic passive electronics and legendary BB design to create a bass ready for action. For more than 20 years, Yamaha BB Series basses have been the workhorse for some of the world’s greatest bassists. Through the years, these players have relied on Yamaha's BB Basses to deliver that deep, warm thump that has become the hallmark Yamaha bass sound. The BB414 features a solid alder body with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Electronics include a custom voiced ceramic soapbar-style bridge pickup, a split coil neck pickup, a toggle selector switch and speed knobs for master volume and master tone. Specifications: Colour - Wine Red Scale - 34" (864 mm) Body Type - Alder Pick Up System - Split Single Coil x 2, Ceramic Bar Single Coil x 1 Neck - Maple Finger Board - Rosewood Bridge - Vintage Style Controls - 3-position Toggle, Master Volume, Master Tone Nut width - 1" 9/16 (Slightly thicker than a jazz) This was my first proper gigging bass and served me well. However, since I bought my Jazz a year ago, it has just languished on the wall, I'm selling it to raise some funds for an Orange Bass Terror (hintnudge). It is in fairly good condition, usual scratches and a couple of small dents, as would be expected of a gigged bass. I've tried to show these in the pictures. The colour is really nice, I initially chose it to get away from block colours and was glad that I did. The pictures don't do it justice. According to various websites, the RRP is around £380, after a bit of searching, the cheapest I can find it in stock online is at £297, they seem to sell up to £340 and beyond. As such, I am asking £200 for it, complete with a new set of strings (woohoo ). I'm saying pick up only at this time*, purely because I don't have a box big enough for it, I will try and remedy this situation however. If you want to send me a box, and then I'll send it back to you in it, then sure. Feel free to message me with trades or offers or whatever, I'm primarily looking for light amplification (OBT etc). Can make cash adjustments your way after some other sales have gone through. *Based in Bournemouth Edit: I forgot to mention, I broke one of the knobs off when tightening the pot (I hadn't done it before ). I just stuck on a spare one I had lying around. They don't match perfectly, but from the front you wouldn't notice the difference. You can pick up a new one for pence, it's just a plastic one after all.
12. It was after seeing your youtube review about a week ago that I decided to get one! Lack of funds currently, if it's still up after a couple of sales go through I may well have it.
13. AFAIK, you are fine opening the logic studio projects in express, but you have to bear in mind that some of the patches and plugins will be disabled if they are available in studio and not express, space designer for example, which is probably the most commonly used one that isn't in express.
