The neck really is quite flamed/dark in places, almost to the extent where it's bordering on looking like birds eye Maple (I'm not suggesting it is birds eye, but it is very dark in places and has that whole birds eye thing going on to some extent). To the best of my knowledge it's had no additional treatment but looks stunning and plays incredibly well. Compared to my SLO which is also for sale this is much, much darker.

It is a beauty and the neck really is superb, very playable, I took it to rehearsal and it sounded huge! Loads of fat bottom end and plenty of mids/highs - it really is very verstatile . If it was Blackburst then it would definitely be a keeper, I'm just not a Cherry/Violet type of guy. EDIT: Interested in trading for Barefaced Super Twin or Super 12T.

Hi All, Up for sale is my EBMM StingRay SLO special 4H/3EQ in Black Maple. This bass is in as new, unmarked condition and comes complete with it's original hardshell Musicman case. I acquired this in a recent trade, it plays wonderfully - nice low action & silky smooth fast neck. The neck measures 38mm at the nut. Edit: [color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]Just weighed it and it's come in at (a very healthy) 9.47 lbs or 4.3 kg.[/font][/color] I am fairly keen on keeping this to be honest but thought I'd put it out there and see what the response is, I'm also selling another Ray in Sparkle Black/Maple, depending on whichever sells first, I shall be withdrawing the other. I'd prefer collection near Marlborough, Wiltshire but would consider shipping at buyers risk/expense. Here's some pics:

Price drop £700 Hi All, Next up for sale is my Sandberg California. Recently acquired as part of a trade, it's finished in Cherryburst with black hardware & black scratchplate, it's in unmarked condition and comes complete with Sandberg gigbag. The maple neck is super sleek and the nut width measures 38mm. According to our scales it weighs in at a very respectable 9lb 8ozs. The Delano pickups coupled with the Sandberg electronics sound huge, the volume knob is of the push/pull type and switches between active & passive mode. It's a great bass to play, nice fast neck, superb action and a huge amount of tonal variations and qualities, it's just not my cup of tea as I only really like black or white basses. Would prefer collection from near Marlborough, Wiltshire or could deliver for cost of fuel money within a reasonable distance, could ship at buyers risk/expense. EDIT: I'd be interested in trading for a Barefaced Super Twin or Super 12T. Hi All, Up for sale is my Musicman Stingray 4H/3EQ in classic Black Sapphire Sparkle with a beautiful maple neck. It's a real funk machine with nice low action and lovely fast, playable neck. Comes complete with it's original hardshell case. Looking on the Musicman Bass.org website & using the serial number, it seems the bass is dated around 2000MY. I'd say this bass is in 9.5/10 condition- wise with a small ding just above the mid boost/cut control that I've tried to photograph, with the sparkle finish it's quite difficult to see. I'm located near Marlborough in Wiltshire, would prefer collection but could ship at buyers expense. Here's some pics:
