1. oops, skim reading, apologies
2. Not so sure, what was REALLY there of any value? Considering the state they were in? The JV Squier? More hassle than its worth really
3. I like Wishbasses, for what they are, but I just wish they'd do something different with the lower horns, whenever I see one I want to take a belt sander to it. Congrats on your new order, interested to see how it's going to come out
4. http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/fender-jazz-bass-marcus-miller-v-copy/90064706 was almost tempted on this
5. Is that just a veneer applied to a regular scratchplate? If so its an awesome effect!
6. Neon green and tort
7. Its a shame, I really enjoy bass driven music (Primus, DFA1979, any funk/motown) but the "bass solo" is just embarassing. I've watched endless videos of Billy Sheehan, Stu Hamm (ultimately Stu Hamm doesn't perform "bass solo's", they're just rehashed attempts of everything he's done before), Wooten, and many others, who just get on stage and try and play as fast as possible whilst pulling stupid faces, for what? To impress the crowd? It makes me cringe
8. Hi mate, just a tip, it'll raise a bit of interest by putting up a picture and a little bit more info. All the best
9. Sunday afternoon full of food bump
10. How do you get on with the Ashton? There's been little positive reviews on them on here
11. Japanese reissue Jazzmaster for sale. I've owned this guitar for 5 years now, having bought it new from Andertons. It has only ever been played at home, however, its in good used condition. The only major mark being a chip on the side near the bridge, as seen in the photo. Candy Apple Red body with matching headstock, it really is a beautiful guitar. Nice even action makes it extremely playable, whatever style you use. The neck has a lovely grain, and the fretboard is a great testament to Fender Japans quality. Only niggle is sometimes the pickup selector doesnt engage the bridge pickup, however, tapping the volume pot seems to fix this (don't ask how I worked that out ) Looking for £425, guitar will come with the padded Fender gig bag and original trem arm. Would prefer collection, and am happy for you to come have a play. Could arrange postage at buyers expense. OR Would trade for an SG (P90 preferred), all valve guitar amp, or something interesting, PM me Will get some more pictures hopefully today Cheers Will
12. I've tried adjusting the nut, and it doesnt solve the problem, and I've checked the bow in the neck like that and its pretty deep. I should probably just go to a tech
13. Having a look from the side, it curves away from the body at the first fret. I think I'm going the right way. Do I want to nudge it toward the body, if you get what I mean?
14. Rich, I've tried turning anti-clockwise 1/4 of a turn and it moves pretty loosely, but doesn't seem to be doing anything for the fretbuzz on the first frets.
