I think you can get extra large covers off ebay that might fit the higher mass bridges, although ive never heard of anyone getting one to fit a BAII. I actually replaced the pups in my HW-one Jazz with Wizards and it transformed the bass. I just love the tone i get from it now, and it was good to start with. I guess im just agreeing that Wizards are a great upgrade and very cheap.
I was already considering wizards, they get great reviews at a reasonable price. The 'high-mass vintage' bridge keeps the vintage look (but it's covered ;-/ ), so this is my choice. Now I just need to research pot meters.
Mrs T and Endorka seems to be the only female posters. What happened to Zoe BillySheehan and Sarah 5 String? Was it something we said?
I thought you were a girl (with a silly name), and a stunner at that. How disappointing ;-(

I have a 75 MIJ Jazz re-issue and am looking to do the usual mods, Bridge - Pups - Tuning Keys. (I've had it for about a year now and it plays great but sounds lacking) I've fitted the Fender chrome plate over the bridge and want to keep the look but I'm not sure which bridges (Badass,Gotoh,Hipshot etc) will fit under it. Have you guys got any tips? Phil.
not sure whether it will do 3 x 12v, but the diago powerstation might be your best bet. fire them an e-mail to find out. their customer service is excellent. i use it with my mb compressore, and various 9v and 18v too. http://www.diago.co.uk/
The guy from Diago wrote " Hi Philip, The Powerstation is able to power most 12V pedals, not by actually outputting 12V, but by the fact that most pedals are designed to work within a tolerance of voltages, so long as they are supplied with enough current. For example, all the T-Rex pedals work at 9-12V, even though they're sold as "12V pedals". Regarding specifically the Mark Bass pedals - I have to say that I don't know, since we haven't had any yet to test". And seeing as it works on your Compressore, it should work on mine. Cheers Phil.i.stein -

The extension cable on my board takes up too much room and is very messy. Any ideas which power-blocks can supply 3(or more) 12v pedals and th usual 9 volt suspects ? -

That's true my journey is complete. How long does it usually take to get clean (tone) again? Do they have clinics :-) I'd have prefered Darth Vader as an advisary to the Missus. (luckily she thinks everything costs 50 quid). -
Sounnds a bit rude! But they do look great. I've got a fender for swaps...
that is a work of art. i bet it sounds as good as it looks.. edit: chorus @ front ? also, is that another compressore at the top right ? please explain..
If I don''t have the chorus first I get a high-pitched undulating interference from te Unichorus, sepecially when I dial in the filter from my Markbass amp. God knowa why!. The second compressore is up for grabs. This effects lark is very addictive. It's gonna cost me a lot of money, I can feel it in my bones. -

By the way that Markbass compressore to the top-right of the pedal board is excess to requirements. I ordered one and six months later a second turned up ;-) Anyone for swaps? -

I never used to be much of an effects guy, thought compresssion and chorus would be more than enough. So I bought them, and then thought "what about a bit of overdrive/distortion?". Before I knew it my pedals justified getting a board to house them in. So here it is my first pedal board. -
Hi guys, I'm hearing high-pitched undulating interference when I use my Unichorus. It's at it's loudest when used at the end of my signal chain or when I dial in the VPF filter from tne Markbass amp. Do any of you guys recognise this problem/ can it be helped/ or is it a duff unit. I've just started with effects so I'm not sure what the norm is. I'm using a Fender Jazz - Unichorus - Markbass Combo.

Here's the link, so you know what it looks like. http://www.basmarkt.nl/ad/basbox_te_koop/1...r_bass_kabinet/

Any of you guys ever played through/heard the Fender 1X18 4601sa ? I was thinking of adding one to expand my Markbass 2x10 combo. There's one for sale on basmarkt(a Dutch used gear site) for 250 Euro's! What do you think, a bargain or a waste of money? Phil.

Thanks for the input guys. I'd sent a mail directly to Tech 21 with the same question, but it seems Basschat gets quicker results. I've seen a few on Ebay/Marktplaats (Dutch secondhand goods site). Maybe I'll get lucky with a decent bid! Anyone want to offload one of the above, or an EBS Microbass ?

Hello bottom-enders, This may seem like a silly question; What's the difference between the TECH 21 BASS DRIVER D.I. DELUXE 325 Euro's and the TECH 21 VT BASS DELUXE 295Euro's ? I'm looking for a tool to change tone (and sometimes basses) in between songs. Phil.
