1. Knowing my Gibsons, the best way to mod it is to send it to me and forget about it
 2. I like it other than the headstock, just my opinion though but feel it may grow on me
 3. Bump for a beautiful bass and a friendly trader
 4. Last time I checked the currency (not recently) €-£ was evens and tbirds tend to go for about £800 . . . . Like I said been a while lol If I had the money, it'd be mine and you seem a nice guy to deal with See if I win the lotto tonight
 5.
And have change for a fish supper, ten woodbine and the bus home.
Woodbine, haven't heard that in a while ^_^ Beautiful bass but all the best with the sale
 6. i like it but the price is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much for me i could buy almost 2 new gibsons for that?
 7. Photobucket?
 8.

Omnom noticed one on the 'Bay but just too expensive for me. play well? BSB
 9.

doesnt look right left handed, even the cat isnt impressed ;P
 10.
My 2011 Fender P Bass
mmmm tasty
 11. welcome to the forum, i'll be interested in what you have to say as i detest ibanez but it has been a few years i must say however i hope you enjoy your stay BSB
 12. what ive heard is that the Terror range (G****r and Bass) lack alot of the tone, more so in the passive instruments. how true that is, i cant confirm but they seem alright from what youtube has to offer. Interested in the ashdown line however, so ill keep checking this thread out BSB
 13. looks quite cool, in its own way BUT if it had better hardware i would be tempted =/ BSB
 14.
I wonder what upgrades'll be done to the GL's? I've been after one for a while, might be worth holding on even longer and getting a mim if it's better. Can see prices of the CIJ's skyrocketing when word gets out they're made in an 'inferior' place for the same money.
+1 to both
 15. They've only just been released, there'll be a delay until they're in the UK and even then I'm sure Dawson's, maybe guitartguitar, DV24/7 and a few other stores will stock it. Just have to give it time buddy BSB
 16.
Do you think? I always thought that the classic TBird was all chrome HWare. I was thinking what she needed was chrome Pup covers, but each to their own. BTW If poor old 'Doc' Epiphone can mistake a through neck for a set neck he must be one of those Homeopathetic Doctors, and a pretty poor one at that. But you have to admit, this is a very handsome bird.
Nothing wrong with the classic Gibson thunderbirds with chrome. . . . However, my expectations of black 'chrome' hardware on this specific bass is shattered ;P Ref: www.epiphone.com/Products/Bass/Thunderbird-Classic-IV-PRO.aspx BSB
 17. sh*tty chrome hardware black looked so much better
 18. And how Japanese will somehow be more expensive than US deluxe BSB
 19. I don't get it, there's a fender Marcus Miller MKII out but I haven't seen anything "official" on the net???? :-S If there is, can someone send me the link, please? BSB
 20.
All you Warwicks look the same to me !!
^_^
 21.
This original text?.... Old Fender P Bass, Natural Finish, Looks Like A 1962 But Without Thumb Rest Or Ashtray Bridge Cover. Been Inspected By Local Fender Retailer And Confirmed As 1970's. Truss Rod Needs Adjustment As Action Is High But I Can Do This For You. Personally I Would Change The Strings And Have A Proper Set Up Done As This Was Stored For Years. Electrics Work Fine And Plays Well As I Used This At A Gig Last Week. I Know How Much It Is Worth Plus 2k But As I'm A Guitarist I Rarely Play It. I Would Like More Than What It Is Advertised For However I Am Happy For It To Have A Loving Home I Can Deliver At A Cost.
Lol, someone fell for this at a £500 risk? Personally, I would have met a guitar shop, had them confirm/deny its status and then made the transaction. Not always the way but something "worth £2k" going this low had to have something wrong with it. Blatantly unlucky on the buyers side (although with the right research/assistance could have helped avoid the sale) and the seller is just a miserable bugger who deserves everything coming his way. All the best with the court case. BSB
 22.
As far as I'm aware,Gibson have never officially made left handed basses.I have seen one that was discussed in one of the now defunct guitar mags from the 90's,and their opinion was that it was made in the Gibson factory after hours..
I didn't think they did either, I could have imagined a few EB's maybe but any other model . . . . None the wiser. Don't think a lefty would look right, IMHO. BSB
 23.
Prize for the ugliest thread title ever?
Boom! +1 ^_^
 24.
I think maybe it depends what you are looking at. For me the essential Mosrite features are bigger lower cutaway than upper (the Gibson is the more usual way around), German carve on the body edges (not on the Gibson), "M" shape to the headstock (Gibson has the more usual "open book"). Besides the Mosrite you've shown isn't one of the more traditional ones.
Maybe I've been looking at the wrong archives ^_^ I know what you mean though, just when I look at the EB it gave me a sort of sense of Mosrite- more so, my point being its not a traditional Gibson style, nor a Fender either (as far as traditional shapes go) *sigh* rant over hehe BSB
 25.
Try these, hope it works I'm on my phone http://www.dawsons.co.uk/gibson-grabber-3-70s-tribute-bass-guitar-satin-ebony http://www.gak.co.uk/en/gibson-grabber-3-70s-tribute-bass-satin-honeyburst/75604
muchos gracias, amigo think you'll get one then?
