1. Back on the market
2. And Ibanez sold pending, cheers guys
3. Cheers guys, it really is tearing me up. I'm re-doing my sums at the moment and there's a chance I can stretch to keep this with everything else going but if not it's potentially on hold for Ash
4. Mooer sold pending
5. Hi Ash, I certainly never changed the machineheads but I do agree they don't seem to be standard Status spec. The active circuit is fine, I just like my basses passive thesedays Cheers, Mert
6. Brand new, bought about 6 months ago but I have a set of Black Beauties spare and I'm leaning towards Status Halfwounds in the future anyway, so will sell for £25.00 posted to the UK
7. Two pedals, both dead cheap, need some money. Mooer is very new, Ibanez is very old: Mooer £25.00 shipped Ibanez £17.50 shipped
8. WITHDRAWN If you've seen my Eden sale ad, you know I don't want to sell that. I REALLY REALLY REALLY don't want to sell this. I bought it a couple of years back with some inheritance money as a way to remember my nan who had always supported my music. However I'm in such a situation right now that I can't afford to keep it. It's got its fair share of battle scars, buckle rash etc but it plays superbly and sounds immense with the Status Halfwounds on it - I've been running it passively with no battery all the time I've had it. I'll supply with an old Status gig bag. WITHDRAWN
9. I really don't want to do this, but I'm flat broke having to pay for a house I don't live in plus rent and food where I do live. I bought it off Ghost_Bass in January as a home cab/small gig cab - original sale thread here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/196776-fsft-eden-d112xlt8n-cab-only-one-left/ It has so far stayed at home and been played precisely 5 times as I live in a flat so normally rehearse with my GK app on the iPad. Absolutely pristine condition as the photos show, I think I still have the original box at work and will ship to UK mainland in the cost (which is the same I paid). It's a cracking cab, I really like it but finances dictate something must go. Price is £350 shipped, no trades as I need the cash. Unless you have one of these already and want an S12 and cash my way in trade that is...
10. SMX dates from 1992/3 ish to 1997/8 Depending on output power you could be looking at between £250 and £450 I reckon
11. SMC was a 7 band, this will be an SMX
12. Still my favourite bass amp ever
13. Looking good dude When do I get to gig it......?
14. GK MB Fusion? Light, loud, tube preamp, versatile.... Then you'd run the exact rig I run... PS doubling up anything when there's an S12 already there is probably overkill unless you're playing Wembley!
15. Gig volumes I thought the proto was amazing, it seemed to hold its core tone around the room better than the S12 and was surprisingly loud. I managed to get the protection circuit to kick in on one gig but we were f-ing loud and I had just had 20 minutes of solid compressed distorted tones going through it. I'd always prefer the protection circuit than a fried speaker so it didn't bother me. When was the bash again? I gigged it Oct 2012...
16. No idea - you played the proto about a month before I gigged it!! EDIT - what did you think of it?
17.
Care to expand on that? Sounds intriguing!
It's a ceramic 1x12", a bit bigger than the Midget but not really any bigger than any other 1x12 on the market. It sounded WONDERFUL, honestly I would compare it to what people traditionally perceive a 1x15 to sound like as opposed to a 1x12. Rich, deep bass, beautiful smooth mids and a lovely velvety top end which was never harsh and never lacking. I have already told Alex I want to buy it once he's finished playing with it and having people beta-test it. I will sell the S12 to do so, it's that good IMO.
18. Having gigged the first proto of the "next generation" Barefaced cab (a 1x12) those who don't like the Midget I think will be pleasantly surprised. It may be a while off production though...
19. That almost pasted properly...

21. Cass Lewis plays them a bit here and there I believe
22.
If some are fine and some are not then I'd blame user error.
I concur. Mine only fell off after 2 years of heavy handedness on the part of the band's crew. Most other gear lasts less than 12 months EDIT: but bigger fatter screws would certainly help!
23. Nice one!
