1. If I can sell my bass, I'm having this!
2. "Prime-time" bump. I'll get pics up tomorrow, I need to find a computer that will accept my phone or webcam so I can upload. Just to elaborate on the kind of thing I'd like: Squier Deluxe Jazz (V or otherwise) Warwick Rockbasses (maybe the old cheap standards too.) Ibanezes, all shapes and sizes except the GSRs. MAYBE Yamahas. You get the picture, modernish stuff, possibly active. Wouldn't say no to a 5, 6 or 7 string. Maybe an 8 I say modern but I wouldn't mind a CV jazz. As for a price I'm not sure. I traded a bass worth £350 for this +£100 but, taking a few dings into account and the thing with the jack, I think £240 +pp is a reasonable enough price. Especially as there is around £100 of mods there.
3. Exactly what it says on the tin. A VM Precision bass with a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder, an aftermarket Red Tort pickguard, a black Gotoh 201 brridge, a slightly more *ahem* "heavy duty" nut on the output jack (I lost the original) and its also currently bypassing the tone control like on the Mark Hoppus bass (the equivalent of pushing the tone to 11) but if you aren't into that it's a five minute fix I can do before sending it off. Aside from the mods, the best thing about this bass is the neck. Its currently strung with 50-110 Rotos but I managed to go straight from C standard to E standard without the neck bowing or the intonation changing. That and the satin laquer, as with most Squiers, is a dream to play on. I would like £200 + pp by paypal or, preferably, bank transfer. Shipped in a gig bag and box.
4. Hi, I've got a Squier Vintage Modified Precision thats been modded quite a bit, SD Quarter Pounder (which is seriously powerful), tort pickguard and a black Gotoh 201 bridge. Also has probably the best neck I've ever played on (keeps tune when going straight from C standard to E standard) but I'm after something more modern like this'un. PM me if you're interested.
5. Up for trades? I have a Weeping Demon Wah.
6. Well I've got a Weeping Demon Wah, if that sort of thing interests you?
7.
Okay, i know this is a fast turnaround even for me, but i bought it as an 'always on' pedal to warm up my tone with a bit of valve action, but i think i actually prefer my Mark Bass head clean, so thinking of trading this one for something else. Lovely little USA pedal, designed by Butler, who also made the Tube Driver of David Gilmour Fame. This pedal has a very similar design too. No low end loss at all, sounds very nice at low gain, bit too harsh with gain cranked for me. To be honest if i put a 12AU7 in this instead of the 12AX7 i would probably prefer it, but not sure if i can be bothered! Very quiet for a valve pedal, providing you have decent shielded cables. Has had its foot switch replaced at some point. In great condition and even comes with the original instructions and warranty card Only bought from ahpook last week, sure he wont mind me stealing his photo: Trade only for now, if i ask for cash it will just be spend on beer and curry so id rather see if anyone has anything to trade! May end up keeping it and giving it a new valve if nothing interesting comes along...
Just so we know what value pedal you're after, how much would a theoretical sale price be?
8. Big Muff gone. WD7 price dropped.
9. Up to page 1! A few things I'd really like: Sansamp Bass Driver DI or MXR M80 (trade for both of my pedals), any EHX valve effects, QTron, a valve overdrive or EQ, an EHX Bass Microsynth.
10. Can't remember if I messaged you or not. Would you fancy a trade? My Russiand Muff and WD7 Wah for the Microsynth?
11. Added prices for both, someone has already shown interest in the muff so I'm waiting for them to get back to me.
12. ^ I was hoping to grab more interest for the Wah, seems that failed.
13. Fancy trading a Weeping Demon Wah for the QTron?
14. Adding a sale price for the pair, I don't want to split them up just yet.
15. Up for any trades? I have a Weeping Demon Wah.
16. Would also trade for a good project bass. Squier Bronco, etc.
17. Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah, functions perfectly but the little bit of rubber that stops metal meeting metal when you push down is gone. Doesn't affect the sound but there's a clicking noise, doesn't pass through the speaker obviously, if you press it too far (you're playing to quietly if you can hear it anyway ). Comes in the original box. Has velcro strips but they're easily taken off. The Weeping Demon has a normal/low range switch and "Lo" knob (among others) so there's no risk of losing low end there.
18. In negotiations with someone but nothing final yet. My financial situation is no longer so dire so I may be up for trades (straight swaps.)
19.
ok you got me, if you can get it to me, i'll pay p&p.
My saviour! PM'd.
20. Somewhat desperate bump.
21. Much appreciated . I am aware of my over-bumping right now but both sales are rather urgent!
